Really appreciate you sharing this quality of educational videos with us for free. Education should be freely available. I hope your channel gets monetized and you get patreons.

Thank you for your encouragement! Alhamdulillah, I'm delighted to share that my channel is already monetized. However, the KZbin revenue is quite minimal and doesn’t cover the costs of this project and to pay my bills (so that I can focus on MedicoVisual, rather than seeking another job). I'm the sole creator behind this content, which is why producing lectures is time-consuming and resource-intensive. To keep the project sustainable, I offer some paid courses on MedicoVisual.com. I share your belief in the importance of open education, but to continue dedicating myself to this work and manage my expenses, it was a necessary evil to introduce some paid content. Despite this, I'm committed to making education accessible, so I provide substantial discounts and even free access to those in need, while those who can afford to pay help support the project. Regarding Patreon, I've opted not to use their services due to their poor customer care and the limited freedom they offer compared to running my own website. For any student requiring financial assistance or interested in discounts for the paid lectures, please don't hesitate to contact me via the live chat on the website, WhatsApp at +923037241030, or email me at draizaz@medicovisual.com. I'm here to facilitate your educational journey as much as I can. Thank you once again for your support! 🌟

You are most brilliant! What would it take to come up with a smoother (and animated) “fly-through” video from oval window/stapes footplate in scala vestibuli to helicotrema, then scala tympani, then descending to round window? Also, would it be possible to create a fly-through video beginning @ basal end of scala media/cochlear duct (SM/CD), then traversing the 2-3/4-turn cochlea to the sealed apical end? Last but not least, any opinion on the function of the cochlear AQUEduct? ;)

You are a genius man (Ma Shaa ALLAH). How did you get your concepts so clear? I'm curious if someone actually taught you in this depth.. The way you explained the need for a round window and then questioned where it should be located..... I am SUPER IMPRESSEDD!! I don't even at harvard they'd teach this way.

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback! I'm really glad you found the lecture impressive. My teaching method is quite thorough, drawing inspiration from Dr. Najeeb, whom I've long admired and learned from by attending many of his live lectures and watched almost all of his recorded videos. When I dive into a topic, I not only absorb the information from multiple books and journal articles, but I also make it a point to visualize everything. This mental imagery is crucial-if there's a concept I can't visualize, I don't rest until I've resolved these gaps by exploring more resources. This technique ensures that when I explain a concept, it's not just words but a clear visual story that helps students grasp complex topics easily. Your comment is incredibly encouraging, and it motivates me to keep refining this approach to make learning as rich and vivid as possible. Thanks again, and I look forward to sharing more knowledge with you! 🌟📘✍

I just had one doubt, you said easiest/shortest route for sound to travel would be towards the cochlea, which seems fine if you look at the unwind the cochlea. but as spiral, wouldn't it be a more difficult route?
@MedicoVisual
@MedicoVisual Жыл бұрын
That's a fantastic question and I appreciate your curiosity! The path from the oval window to the round window might not seem the shortest due to the cochlea's spiral structure, but it's the path of least resistance for sound transmission. Sound waves enter through the oval window and travel through the fluid in the cochlea, which is the only direct route they can take to reach the round window. This is due to the unique anatomy of the inner ear, where the cochlea is designed to efficiently transmit these vibrations. If you consider the structure of the cochlear duct, there aren't any alternate pathways that the sound waves could physically follow due to the enclosed, fluid-filled chambers. It’s like a maze with only one way in and one way out. I hope this clarifies your doubt! Feel free to ask if you have more questions. 👂🌀🔊
