My town has 54,000 residents, and there are around 10,000 migrants now, to the point that my elementary school had to build annexes to accommodate their children. In PA, if you don't show ins from another state, you have to start from scratch with a permit, a physical to GET the permit, unopened type-written mail with your name on it, utility bill, and two forms of picture ID. I grew up here. 40 years it took me to get tf out of there. I could tell you things about that place that you'd never believe. Breaks my goddamn heart to see what the Mon Valley has become. It was repressed before. Now it's virtually unlivable. Charleroi used to be the place to be. You'd head down to Monte's for wing night then you'd walk down to the pool hall to see who all was down there. If nobody was at the pool hall, you'd head down to the Dek Hockey rink behind the old Montgomery Ward building in Magic City Plaza. My band, MindStab, played Club Rockers every month and life was good there. It was safe. Predictable. Industry moved out, the shops boarded up and the drugs moved in. Not long after, the immigrants. Illegal and otherwise. The epidemic began with a company called QDC. Worked there for quite awhile some years ago. One of these days, we'll have talk about it. You don't even know the half of it. The residents you encountered all seemed to share a certain attitude. Nobody wants to say what everyone else is thinking. It's fucking heavy. I had to leave my hometown and everything I knew to take a chance on a better life elsewhere. Because a better life no longer exists in the Mon Valley area.

Its happening in Wisconsin. I work at a pharmacy. The language barrier is terrifying to say the least. How can you look up a person when you cant get their name spelling? When they try to give a birthday but they dont know if they correctly gave it. I get this multiple times a day. They dont have IDs you can look at to get their information. They dont know what medication they got or what the medication is for. Im stuck going thru multiple pages of people trying to figure out what medication they are supposed to get. Its very time consuming and frustrating because one of these times im going to make a wrong guess and hand out the wrong medication because i cant understand anything they are saying. My coworkers dont understand them either. We are all frustrated. They are also all on state insurance. So many are pregnant and have young kids. Stores are being overran by people who came from all over the place and dont speak English.

Both of my grandparents immigrated from Wales, Germany, and Italy through Ellis Island at the turn of the century (early 1900s). They told us it took every cent they had to come here. They worked hard so my parents, and my siblings could be here today because of their sacrifices. They received no handouts. Just hard work, and persistence. Close the damn borders, and do it right!

Black immigrants do not get much, if anything compared to what the other immigrants get. My siblings and I were brought here by our mother who had immigrated just 2 years before she brought us. We came here legally with our green cards. We were poor, my mom got assistance to help with food over a short period while holding a domestic job. She quickly got off of this assistance because her hopes and dreams was to return to her country. She worked 2 jobs for years saved her money and returned. Many of us come here to work hard. I know many Haitians who were in the Medical Field. They are very intelligent people.

The maximum EBT amount per non working adult in Pennsylvania is $291, cash maximum is 200. This man is working. Both my husband and I work, both jobs part time, and we have a 1 year old. We make too much to get cash assistance, and our entire family gets 322 in snap food stamps a month. We literally can't pay our bills or buy food. Tell me how this is fair for American citizens, when an immigrant gets the max while working full-time... it's bullsht.

@elaineteut1249 its possible some non citizens will slip through, but I think the play is more about increasing the census. This adds to the electoral power of a state and their electoral college value. I know that they are getting drivers licenses, somehow without taking a driving test (wtf is that???), but their residential address has to be active for a certain amount of time to even be considered a legal resident to that state. I hope that with the amount of scrutiny regarding illegals voting, that polling locations ONLY accept a voters registration card. Legally, you cannot get a VRC without being a citizen, having residence for at least 6 months, without a state ID, without SSN etc... these protections are there. But... I definitely think the dems are sneaky enough to bypass all of this.
