Song(s) of the year of 2021 for me. They are GENIUS releasing them this way. It was every emotion possible listening to all of this.

You guys are truly amazing people and your reactions are great. Alleviate was a hard song for me to get through simply because it was very relatable because i suffer from depression and just some days it really hits me and i just stay in my room and not talk to anybody. For me it was hard to fight the tears especially when Chels got emotional. It was a well needed cry and no one should ever be afraid to cry. Thank you Mat and Chels for being you and can't wait for future reactions from you guys.

I love all the small details that connects Chasing Shadows to the first three videos. The blindfold, the statue/figure, the buried skeleton. Came together great.

First video is the angry side of depression, giving way to acceptance, with the second video being drowning from the sadness and loss of hope, and surrendering to/drowning in the sadness and eventual numbness. That final cry/scream before the heart on screen breaks is one of absolute desperation. Hits me like a freight train every time, because I've made that call many times, to people and religion ("hold on to heaven" lyrics from the first song). It hasn't ever saved me 😞 Notice how with every underwater scene, fewer and fewer bubbles come out from his mouth and nose, until in the last underwater scene, with the final plea of "Alleviate the pain," we only see a single bubble emerge. This is what deaths of despair look like, and it's fucking tragic. And perfectly representative of my mental state at the moment... Self-inflicted death is not far away for me, sadly 😔

Always liked your reactions because I could relate to them and - most of the time - I agreed. This time, your reaction really touched my heart. I finally could feel something - although it hurted so bad, it was the most vivid moment of my past 10 years. I just want to thank you so much for this video. Keep going and keep strong, Tobi

Anyone else feel like they're fairly generic? Very well executed metalcore, but you know exactly what you're going to get: the low, high, low, high formula, the predictable breakdowns - I feel like you can set your watch by the build and climax in every song. I don't feel like they do anything "wrong," there's just nothing exciting or unique. The strings are there, but just barely, and they're not that unique in the soundscape. Works well as individual songs, but it really loses a lot of the appeal in context with their catalogue, and with the genre as a whole.
