I experienced something like that once. I woke up in an induced coma after an accident. Eyes shut, couldn't move anything, not even an eyelid. I was awake sometimes and could hear people but was confused due to the meds. Trapped inside myself for like a week. Definitely not a fun time but not a worst case scenario either. There are worse things in life. FYI A lot of people who are intubated with a ventilator due to the Covid19 virus have to be chemically paralyzed or they would rip out the tube so they are stuck there with their thoughts. I'm not going through that again let me tell you. Not worth it.

@@larrytherustyboii7442 It's called an induced coma. The doctors paralyze you with drugs so you can't move so you can't move so much as an eyelid. It's so you don't try and rip the ventilator hose and stomach tubes out of your throat, which would be your natural reaction if you had free movement. In my case I woke up after surgery from a bad motorcycle accident with a lot of broken bones and a rib through my lung. Between the paralysis drugs and the pain meds which made me loopy, it was a confusing and terrifying situation to be able to hear people talking and to not realize fully why I couldn't move or speak. If I could have spoken, I would have asked them to lean the head of the bed up 6 inches. Laying flat like that with all the tubes in my throat it seemed like I was drowning. I was literally trying to move my head a fraction of an inch to communicate like the guy in the Metallica video "One", but I couldn't move. Not even an eyelash. So yeah... it's a thing and covid or no covid, I'm not getting any GD tubes shoved down my throat.

It still sticks out like a sore thumb when she's saying her anger is dismissed while the Hulk gets the "cushy life" where his anger is respected and forgiven, you do not know how much the hulk has suffered and lost because he is The Hulk. It can also be seen as a racism allegory but these holes sink her argument fast the way I see it, not like racism doesn't exist, but suffering and being helpless come natural to humans when faced with forces they don't understand or have control over in the long run. So I say she doesn't get to judge and say the hulk has it good.

I feel like that was the point. When looking from an outside perspective, like the perspective she had at the time, what she said made sense. She doesn't know hulk. All she knows is that he keeps being seen as hero, then an monster, and then forgiven and put back in the shoes of a hero. And there is some truth to that. I love hulk’s response to Jacky concerning anger and being the hulk, as appealing as expressing and feeling anger on the level of the hulk, ultimately it’s neither a pleasant feeling or a useful feeling. So he was forgiven, but he hurt people, friends stop trusting him, and all that rage only separates him from the people he loves. The whole anger isn’t useful thing was one thing, but Jacky having to stop savage hulk from continuing to beat red hulk’s corpse was a whole nother level of good. As appealing as it seems to rage, it’s just gruesome, and as savage hulk put it, it always hurts, whether that be people like Jacky, or hulk himself

There is one thing bothering me: The Hulk couldn't talk, when he was a head in a jar, because he had no lungs. Fair enough. But why was he able to snap his fingers, when his hand was cut off at the wrist? To move your fingers, you need the muscles in your forearm. ô.O Would have been better, if he slammed his jaw together, but I think this would be hard to make understandable in a comic.

I think after the MCU is said and done, and DC and Marvel trade places on the dominant connected cinematic universe and Marvel goes to single, contained story lines without having to worry about connecting it all, I think a monster horror movie of the Hulk would be a really cool project to see in the future.

Because the storyline isn't finished, Immortal Hulk will end on issue 25(it will be a double sized issue), issue 21 recently came out. This part of the story ended on issue 13.
