Immortal Samsara is one of the best drama ever. If you like Love and Redemption and Ashes of Love, you will love this drama. The drama starts out slow, but it gets really addicting from episode 6. Cheng Yi and Yang Zi's acting in this drama are outstanding. I'm so blown away by how well they portray their characters, I can feel the pains that they're going through and they have amazing chemistry. They are the best male and female lead duo. Highly recommend this drama.

Cheng Yi is just marvelous, watched this many times (don't even care to count it). Never tired of him. Have to skip some parts though when he got hurt too much. In fact, he is excellent in Stand by Me, but he suffers so much and he is gone at the end, so can't watch it again. The first episode of Love and Redemption is so good that you can watch it again and again and still be intrigued by Cheng Yi's performance. Wish that he has more dramas. Watching Deep Lurk now, but have to wait so long for each new episode, haha.

10/10 drama. I finished two days ago, and I still want more of this. The story, chemistry, and everything is so perfect and well written. The actors are really good portraying their characters. I have cried over 20 times while watching this. From romance to plot to character development to the whole story, everything is really good and doesn't lack anything. I couldn't find any more drama like this except ashes of love, so i came back here again. I think i will rewatch this again because I'm just very addicted. It's totally worth every episode. I love this.

Hey, where did they find this actor, Cheng Yi? He is not just cute beyond words (he is simply BEAUTIFUL in all different emotions), he is so talented, and so into the characters he plays. He gives his best in every episode. Seldom watched Chinese dramas, don’t understand Mandarin much. However, his facial expression says it all. I should ask Cheng Yi to pay for all those boxes of Kleenex, haha. Those directors and producers should value his talents. He transforms himself into so many different characters and draws the audience into the scenes with him! Have to give all those Chinese dramas another look, their surreal scenes and special effects are excellent, even comparing with movies like Dr. Strange.

Never watched a single Asian dramas before until I discovered Mr Cheng Yi. What an extraordinary actor with unique understanding of his character. I think it's because of his purity and integrity. After learning more about him and his entertainment circle, I find it astonishing that such a superb acting professional and genuine gentleman even survived. His entertainment circle doesn't appear to care about the quality of dramas that much. It gave me the impression that it has more to do with power, money and all the complicated networks (you know the old boy type). Recently some even got as low as pretending to be his fans trying hard to destroy his working relationship with his working partners. How extraordinary! I'm sure he also has some emotional fans who can be easily manipulated. But seriously, do they think those who work with him don't know what a kind and hardworking gentleman he is? Is any company so shallow that they would change their relationships with Mr Cheng Yi because of these people's behavior? That would be like cutting off your nose to spite your face. Anyone who has spent any time to learn about Mr Cheng Yi would know that he seems to be the most honest and wholesome gentleman who never spends any energy on playing their game. All he cares about is how to give his best to his viewers. He doesn't seem to rush into anything either. That is one of the reasons he plays each of his roles so successfully. If you only like to watch the types of superficial dramas with good looking actors, you may not truly appreciate his performance. It's not that he is not good looking, it's that his indepth and unique understanding of his character and his outstanding playing of his character make you so absorbed in his role that his good looks becomes secondary. That is why he has attracted so many unconventional audience who would not otherwise watch the drama such as this one. His performance in this drama is so superb that I have rewatched only his parts more times than I care to admit.
