i don't think i can sit through anything that doesn't have a chaotic drone to the music now. i just tried to listen to Buckethead, which i used to really like, & i couldn't do it. it was too mellow. *Dungeon Synth seems to be ok tho, some of it. i think it's because it kind of grew from Black Metal tho. **i think it's mainly guitarists that's the issue, maybe drummers too.
