That's why I think he decided to fire Abbath. Abbath started to lose it after At the Heart of Winter. He soaked in all the glory and the praise they got from the metal scene, started believing his own hype and tried to promote himself and the band as a bunch of humorous old craftsmen of black metal who love to fool around playing fun-loving heavy metal with a touch of black metal and make more memes than music regardless of what Demonaz and the other members considered Immortal to be as a whole.

And yes I do like albums w Abbath involved (even the late ones but not as much) but I think the last few albums were missing the key elements that makes them a proper Immortal album, now thanks to you we finally there again where Battle in the North should have continued instead of slowly slipping away from it.
