I am more inclined to listening to discourses, reading scriptures, chanting etc but doing puja and rituals does not appeal to me. If I do not connect to God through devotion path but want spiritual progress, will grace of God not be there for me to progress. Devotion doesn't come to me naturally. If all thoughts in mind are Brahman (@~24 min), why does astanga yoga ask for purification yama and niyama? Bad thoughts are also brahman, why does scripture preach shrey path? Na punyam, na paapam, chidananda rupah shivoham!! My mind experiences bad thoughts and stimulates bad karma, but I am not karma either, the white screen aka consciousness.
