anyways don't you hate it when you meet a great girl but then she ghosts you for 30 years and when you're exploring a random cave you find her and time hasn't touched her and also she's glowing for some reason??? ....yeah. same
i imagine after aladdin stops freaking out tho they go out for coffee or something and they're FINE they end up FINE ariel's just like "i thought leaving you was for the best because we could never have a Normal Life" and aladdin is like "babe i'm exploring weird glowing underwater caves you think I want a normal life???" and she's like "that's fair" and then they're FINE.
also fun fact the first draft of this instead had Older Aladdin being attacked and Ariel's return being her ripping apart his enemies but. this song doesn't have the right beat for Ariel dismembering Aladdin's enemies.

the lighting that fades between sunset and night at the beginning is so perfect, and the way it flowed w the edited ariel and eric dancing is just. so good. and that ending of al being older and discovering ariel- oohhh very cinematic.

The editing in this is insane but also when I read that fun fact in the description I started laughing so loud I spooked my dog. "Aladdin was going to be attacked by his enemies and Ariel was going to tear them apart". Me, looking at Angel with a Shotgun, Gales of Song, etc: "well when she likes a theme, she likes a theme!" XD

Oh my god Sophie I love stories like this where time passes and the character is still determined to find their partner at all costs. The look of disappointment on Aladdin's face just breaks my heart (but in a good way :D) the lighting in every single manip is GOLDEN. I love it!!! I'm super grateful you joined because it looks amazing!!!!

@@anyadouc2069 tbh i don't usually open requests. i'm too busy and inspiration is too fleeting for me, sorry! if you're interested in a crossover editor making a specific video i'd recommend checking to see if anyone has commissions open. but unless they specifically have a video stating they're open for requests, most editors nowadays don't take them. video editing is too time consuming.
