....to be frank...EIKO ...is too esoteric and original for GAGA at the young stage of her career... ALEXANDER McQUEEN had just given her his whole collection just before he died so she was in good stead...also EIKO was VERY PARTICULAR about who she worked with...she turned down JLO....even though she was working for her in the brilliant movie...THE CELL....JLO was the one who basically had the movie made....and she was one of the executive producers....EIKO only worked with the BEST...one of the people she worked with for DECADES....designing costumes and sets for was....GRACE JONES...they met when GRACE was a model....during the legendary recently departed designer...ISSEY MIYAKE'S LEGENDARY SHOW and TOUR called ...ISSEY MIYAKE and 12 BLACK GIRLS....EIKO....was the art director...

In your opinion, sure. So why do you care to walk on other people's opinions? Does it make you feel justified in your stance or is it some pretentious hope that you can make someone agree with you simply because you "think" they ought to? Yes my rationality was dictated by what I thought was a terrible piece of cinema. I take back the silly name calling and respect your opinion but ask that we are less forgiving of paying gpod money to watch films that are badly done.

Looking back at that I was so annoyed about the look and awful storyline of that film - mainly because the cinema ticket cost £12.50. In my opinion its a bit of a middle finger to Greek mythology and could have been so much better, also I hated the costumes and thought they looked tacky and cheap.

Agreed, they were literally spraypainted gold, and those hats were the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Nothing godlike about those costumes whatsoever......

What do you mean the fuck, do you not remember how bad the costume design was, everything looked plastic - like cheap Halloween costumes. The film was also awful, everything about it was tacky and cheap. I mean how much do you think they spent on the immortals? I could have done that with 20 pounds and some gold spray...... This is supposed to be a high budget film and theyre still making cheap looking props......

@Janexcalibur are you serious, the costumes in immortals were awful, do you remember the stupid hats on the gods- the ones that were CLEARLY spray painted gold. Apparently they had the same costume guys as 300, people trained to make real armor and authentic period clothing but this crazy woman kept interfering and telling them to do all the bullshit looking spray painted plastic armors. Also that helmet design behind her is completely ripped off from gladiator. Worst film ive seen in years.
