We thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. Yes, it is copying a lot of Breathe of the Wild and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. And.....that's not a bad thing. It's incredibly fun to play. The humor can be a bit too much at times, but for the most part it hits and story is very enjoyable. As always we used relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to stitch together a fluid cinematic experience. If you liked this vid, please make sure to like, comment and share! I love the banter between Prometheus & Zeus. Prometheus made a good narrator and Zeus's comments made for great comedic relief. It also seemed like Zeus learned a lot about himself and his family. Hermes's character made for an amusing trickster. And boy did I feel for Hephaistos. His story and personal anguish really made me feel for the guy. I also liked the voice his voice as the automaton. It was bittersweet to see that version go, but he definitely learned a lot from the experience. As did all the gods.

Honestly I hate that the story insinuates that the Gods are GOOD because of their faults. It constantly makes excuses for them instead of having the Gods take responsibility for their horrible behavior and suffering they caused. It's pretty sickening, but it makes sense because the Greeks were basically abused enablers to their gods.

Interesting. Both Aphrodite and Hephaistos are somewhat happier in their new forms while Athena and Ares don't. Ares and Athena will give you all three of their blessings before being restored and Hephaistos and Aphrodite reward the final ones afterwards.

I'm a huge fan of greek mythology so I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this, and I'm very happy Zeus finally realized how much of a shit person he is to everyone, where in the original mythology he never learns from his mistakes and can't keep it in his pants no matter how many women, or nymphs Hera enacts vengeance on.

@@texteel I don't think it does, I think they used myths to tell stories of ancient heroes and the lessons learned from them, or to explain something that they couldn't understand. For example, if a city was washed away with a massive tidal wave, they must have done something to anger Posiden, where what actually happened was a tsunami hit after an earthquake, or in the case of Atlantis, completely make something up so people learn a valuable lesson. The only "ending" that almost happened was the original Typhon myth but it ends with Zeus dropping a mountain on him and calling it a day. So I think the myths serve as lessons more than stories.

i haven't freed Aphrodites yet and i have questions...LOTS of them. 1) does health vary depending on armor? 2) how come, at the start of the game, your sword was so strong? 3) where did you invest most of your upgrades? 4) how tough must you be to take on blue and purple enemies? 5) how tough must you be to face a Chimera (i need statistics)? 6) are there any dragons in the wilderness (i thought i saw the image of one on Google)? 7) following the previous one, what about the gryphons (besides the one you showed in one of the cutscenes)? 8) which breastplate and helmet would you recommend wearing for the whole playthrough (that is if you get it)? 9) have you explored ALL parts of the world? 10) did you laugh at the dialogue? it's very funny, as you noticed (seeing you happy makes ME happy). if you can, i would like if you answered all of them.

4K 60FPS Ultra HD, calm down on the description, graphics that make the eyes hurt doesn't make the game good and this game is amazingly phenomenal for being witty and clever and constantly incredible. Some of the most memorable moments are with the eyes and the immerse that people always forget about. My son easily immersed himself in the Lego Starwars Wii game even if it may have had a different graphic compund.

In this game, he is. But in the original myth, Hephaistos was born from Hera out of spite that Zeus kept cheating on her. Via technicality, Hephaistos is Zeus' son, but he was born with deformities, unlike many of the other gods. Simply put, Hephaistos is usually depicted as being physically ugly, always covered in dust and ash from being in the forge-fire of his volcanic workshops. Some interpretations say that he broke his legs when he was thrown out of Olympus by his mother- and such give him a wheelchair or mechanical legs. He's supposed to contrast with Aphrodite, who's the perfect representation of beauty.

Eros is one of the few gods that as far as I know is at least mostly faithful... there's even sliding block puzzles in the game telling the tale of what his mother put his wife through(seriously Eros and Psyche is one of the first Beauty and the Beast stories)
