Stepping back in time, seeing the tiles made so long ago. Those craftsmen probably never thought about that in the future we'd be still admiring their labors.

Yes! And of course they'd have had no concept of KZbin and people from all around the world looking at them :)

A cracking vlog Imo. One of my favourite Charles Dickens stories is A Christmas Carol. The door knocker tile reminded me of Jacob Marley.😂 And in the story Scrooge has a tiled fireplace. What a fascinating museum. Loved that. I’ve finally learned how to buy you a coffee ☕️ on here. 😂 You’ve earned them on this trip for sure. 👍🏻 Enjoy. X

@@PlanetImoFor something that clearly holds a lot of history it’s wonderful that they’ve obviously made sure it’s usable for all. You really don’t find that all too often

Visited this museum last October on an insanely rainy day. Completely blown away by it. It should be top of the list for anyone visiting LIsbon. Please tell me you saw The Wedding of the Hen?

The tiles remind me of the ones in some public toilets in Windsor. I have no idea how old they are, but they look similar in colors and styles

It’s only fitting that the QR code at the tile museum is made of, what else, tiles!

Do the tiles outside, get slippy in the rain?
@PlanetImo10 ай бұрын
They don’t tend to be on the floor but the cobbles defo DO get slippery underfoot, yes.
