Yayyyyyy... a bus ride !. My mom used a little trick for us kids when we got new shoes.. leather or man made. She would have us wear wet socks with the shoes, until the socks dried. That was enough to "stretch" the shoes to our feet, and we didn't have blisters or sore feet. Maybe Izzy can try that with her cute little bow shoes. The bus looks similar to the ones in Vegas... same seating and voice directions. They are double decker but we never went on top, as there was too many people trying to get up the stairs. I don't wear earrings when wearing a mask. It's amazing the amount of single earrings we have seen on the ground and on the floor of the store. Beautiful little church. Love the stone work. The arched windows are gorgeous. Too bad Izzy didn't find something in the stores... maybe a local shoe store will have something she likes. Thanks for sharing your lovely day out ... 💗

Mine are mostly 3 layers, but i bought some accidentally that were one layer, which I was most annoyed about. They looked all snazzy with patterns and all that but were actually thin. I think I may stitch them together.

Thanks so much. It's a pretty mundane time to be vlogging so it's a great challenge to try to make the boring stuff engaging. My plan is, that once I get out into the big world again, I'll be able to put all the vlogging skills developed during this period into action and make the vlogs better overall. I'm enjoying the challenge, the daily thrill of development and new discoveries. Thanks for the feedback! Oh, and Izzy's shoe situation was resolved, as if by magic because of the power of KZbin!!! In a similar way to how my puzzle shortage got miraculously solved. 😂

How strange. I went into H&M today in downtown Portland after seeing my daughter. I had to pass through the plywood barricade to get inside and there aren't any windows. However, they had the same fashions as I saw in your video.

Oh wow! I'm not surprised the clothes were the same but it's a nice coincidence that you were experiencing something so similar at around the same time on the opposite side of the world. IKEAS seem to be the same everywhere, too. No barricades here. That's a sad situation. :¬(

i had to call in at the hospital too (my local one) - to see my consultant who wasn't there.. they said to keep my phone active for a telephone consultation but nothing so i'm gonna have to wait till monday now probably to get told the same thing.

Hee hee! I wish I knew! I suspect it was just the relative temperature and humidity level on that particular occasion, though I have been advised to use a bit of medical tape at the top of the mask to stop the breath leaking up. I might thread some wire into my washable masks. I'm thinking about it. Thanks, Debbie!

I've always thought bus rides were exciting and maybe a tad romantic. Weird I know but I think it is from leftover memories of riding about with my grandmom when I was a bitty of a girl.

It would have been a big occasion then. I remember going on London buses and the underground with my grandparents in the early 80s. My dad had a car so public transport was a big adventure for me then. I still like it, actually, although it's a bit unnerving during the pandemic!

You should try dealing with masks and hung over the top hearing aids, costing thousands of pounds! On my cameras, and using Filmic Pro on the phone, I have manual focus. Osmo Pocket had an update that improves fireworks (lightning?)

Oh gosh! That does not sound fun. I'm having a right blinking palarvar with that Fimi. The firmware's refusing to update, the internal mic is unusable and the Rode Wireless won't work with it until I order an official Fimi base connector. Grr. I got it working with the GoPro Hero 5 though, which is a good upgrade. I'll get there!

Not had McDonald's in 12 years. I seriously dislike it. They are as expensive as a normal restaurant her so why bother. In the day when it was very little money it was ok.

Oh wow - no they are cheaper here in relation to a nice healthy sandwich, for instance. You can see why families are tempted to bypass healthy and go for McD's when the money's tight. It was possibly cheaper for those two drinks plus two McFlurries than two hot drinks in a regular cafe.
