Glad you went with a dark version! The matte effect can cause staining which you won't see it it's dark, but just use a zoflora type of clear product to clean them down and then go over with a dry cloth so you don't see the wet marks :)

Definitely get more kitchen quotes - We found howdens way too expensive aswell! We sent our howdens plan to Homebase in winchester and they took it away and basically matched everything we wanted for a fraction of the price! There were a few little changes but they were brilliant! We went with Homebase and we LOVE our kitchen! Good luck with it all!! ❤❤

I would definitely recommend howdens I have my kitchen designed by them, I went for a dark colour it feels really cosy especially in the evening. You will be so happywhen you move in 💜

We have a very similar kitchen (and same colour) and ended up going with Ikea in the end. We hadn’t considered them at all initially but we ended up preferring their design, it was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper and the fitters were amazing. We’ve had it for a few years now and I still absolutely love it! X

Benchmarx quoted me a lot less than howdens, and I mean over half the price. Howdens are known for being very expensive!
