Great ride. Good decision not to play any music. The best music is the sound of the DR ;-) Greetings from Germany

I had always thought that T7 was the same liability as full 500 pound bike offroad. The point is weight savings going for T7 against for example GS or KTM1290 is marginal. We're talking about 50 pounds give or take. If you really want to see the difference in weight in offroad situation the bike shall be less than 400 pounds.

What was that on the trail at 42:51? A dog or something else?

I think it was a beaver.

Thanks for posting. Did you do both passes in the same day or on separate days?

Same day. Did Black Bear then ate lunch in Telluride before heading back to highway 550 or Ouray via Imogene.

What was the total mileage of Black Bear and Imogene? We may ride with the smaller bikes if within their fuel range. Thanks!
@1255cgraham3 жыл бұрын
I don't recall total mileage but Black Bear was probably 15 miles and Imogene 20. There is gas in both Ouray and Telluride.

@@1255cgraham Thanks for the feedback. I think I will take my 350 instead of the DR for my first ride on Black Bear and Imogene. You handle the DR well, but with my skill level a 100 lb lighter bike may be better. Can't wait for my Ouray trip...leaving Sat.
