They're also setting up the dark avengers and the cabal 👀 Dark Avengers so far: Red Hulk (Ross), Abomination, U.S. Agent, White Widow, Madame Hydra, and possibly the "real" Task Master Cabal so far: Attuma (Nemor was confirmed part of the MCU, so his nemesis is probably coming too), Red Skull, Loki, Enchantress (Sylvie), Kang, Dracula (if that's Blade's enemy in the movie! Would love to see him interact with Cap considering they met in a war) Possibly coming to the Cabal line up: Super Adaptoid (Justin Hammer is already in the MCU so it's possible), M.O.D.O.K (since AIM was already confirmed and we already saw Arnim Zola), and maybe Hyperion since Sentry is supposed to appear in the MCU in the next phase or so

Wanda seems to change the setting/jump forwards in time to a new show whenever something goes wrong, such as after the dinner party in the first episode or the beekeeper showing up in the second episode. Whenever something threatens the illusion she starts over.

My favorite of the tv decades since the 1960s in episode 2. Love that it was using Malcolm in the Middle and a Halloween episode. Love the look and production design. Aside from the finale, this is the WandaVision episode I would rewatch the most.

Specifically the children. In the ad it was a child with food right in front of him but slowly starving because he can't eat it. I think this is hinting that all of the children in the town who have been missing until now have been starving the whole time.

The commercial kid looks like those who get drained by Agatha. We see kids this episode and they're all physically fine. Dehydration would have become a problem looooong before starvation ever became an issue. Every single one of the commercials has been about Wanda and her past/trauma/life/future. It would make no sense for this one commercial to be about the Westview people.

12:12 - *Wanda* in _WandaVision_ x *Korra* in _The Legend of Korra_ = that's so spot-on. Both are incredibly powerful women in their own right, both have had to learn to be comfortable with their abilites as well as be responsible with that crazy amount of power. Mentally and emotional. The chosen structure in storytelling to examine and witness developement & growth in their character through the 5 stages of grief (Korra with the 7) was a good decision. Nice that you two ended up watching both shows so close together. Monica's body been changing since a few episodes ago and we're getting the origin of her hero identity in the MCU. 💫🌟💫 (yes Hayward annoying self and his crew are clowns in their true form; appropriate 😂👏🏾)

Wanda is a Nexus Being. She can rewrite all of reality, even across timelines. There's a LOT she can do. Like Monica and Jimmy said through combined sentences, she and Captain Marvel were the only two in Endgame who came close to taking out Thanos single-handedly. (Wanda would have succeeded if not for 'Rain of Fire.') Not saying it's completely limitless, but the limits are small. Also, there seems to be some tension from Monica regarding the latter of the two superheroes, so when you said to summon her for this, I couldn't help but think, "Yeah, that's not happening." lol

Mephisto is a perennial villain in the Marvel Universe, and is responsible for a number of evil acts, including capturing and holding the soul of Cynthia von Doom - the mother of Doctor Doom - until Doctor Strange and Doom free her to ascend to Heaven. He was jealous of the worship of the fire demon Zarathos, so, posing as Satan, Mephisto creates the Ghost Rider by bonding Zarathos to Johnny Blaze. Mephisto refers to his domain as Hell. In one story where he battled Thor, he was shown to have various historical villains in his realm, such as Adolf Hitler, Blackbeard, and Attila the Hun. Mephisto claims to have been created, along with many other demons, by the supreme being whose suicide resulted in the creation of the Marvel Universe, as well as the Infinity Gems. He also claimed that his total evil nature is because the supreme being did not choose to make him good, as that being had no concept of it. Mephisto acted as servant of the mad Titan Thanos during the War of the Gems, seeking to attain that power for himself. He is also responsible for capturing the souls of heroes Mister Fantastic (whose intelligence was also stolen by Mephisto), the Invisible Woman, and Franklin Richards due to a botched summoning by an exorcist. Mephisto also tries to destroy the Avenger Hawkeye when he enters Hell to try to save the soul of his deceased wife, Mockingbird. Mephisto later creates his 'son' Blackheart, a demonic entity that plagues many of Earth's heroes.

SPOILERS FOR THE REST OF THE SHOW I wish they would have kept Wanda as the main villain. It was an insanely original premise, and a really interesting look at grief until the actual villain was revealed and was just another generic supervillain. Edit: I dont mean she wasnt a villain anymore. She 100% still is a villain. I just wish there wasnt an extra layer added. Uncovering what Wanda was doing was already interesting. Then adding Agnes seemed lazy.

Spoiler Response I understand your point. The finale left some things to be desired with Agnes and White Vision, but I think Wanda is still technically a "villain". She tortured the town and probably left hundreds of people emotionally scarred. And as far as we know, she wasn't criminally punished for it. Whether or not, she is redeemed or is faced with consequences in Multiverse of Madness, we shall see...

One of my pet peeves is when showrunners pivot the way a plot point was supposed to be resolved because the fandom guessed the twist ahead of time. That happened in this show and it's so annoying.

no, no it didn't; do you know how expensive and time consuming that would be? The entirety of WandaVision was finished filming before episode 1 even released on Disney +. But you know what? Humor me; What was changed?

@@skelitonking117 I did some digging and it turned out I misinterpreted some headlines. There were some reshoots and edits made months after filming ended. Apparently, this was done because the order of a couple shows changed, and also specifically to avoid detracting from the self-contained nature of Wanda's arc. As detailed in this article: screenrant.com/wandavision-monica-engineer-fantastic-four-not-planned/ I guess I jumped the gun, but it's not unheard of to re-edit stuff or ADR stuff in whenever a plot point needs to be changed for whatever reason. It happens more often of longer-running tv-shows. Nando v Movies has a lot of videos with examples and one of them specifically states that he believes Falcon and the Winter Soldier was originally going to include a global pandemic, but at what stage in production this was changed is not clear. If any studio is going to edit a major character reveal out for whatever reason, it would be Disney. But I'll admit I spoke too soon in this instance.
