The greatest thing about breaking bad is it’s firm grasp on dark comedy timing and how it can be very python styled slap stick with the clumsiness and sometimes foolishness of the characters. It’s a perfect mix of genres.

The point wasn't total silence. The point was about not talking so much so it takes them out of the flow of the show. Things are set up and timed in a thought out way in a show like this. Not to mention the first season has more of a comedic overtone. They probably know all this anyway. They're fine in their other reactions, sometimes shit gets carried away.

As someone who has dissolved alot of things in acid, Jesses incompetence really frustrates me. Dissolving things into acid is something you should know from school. How are you supposed to get anywhere in life if you dont know the ins and outs of acid.

The most unrealistic thing about the show early on is Walt is a scientist, but doesn't think to use any sort of chemical to help in killing Krazy 8. Poison, chloroform, hell, all you need to do to kill someone is put a bag over their head and pump in helium for a peaceful death. I appreciate the tension it creates, and he may just be panicking, but still kinda stupid.

At this point in the show, it's ENTIRELY realistic that Walt is struggling with ACTIVELY killing Crazy 8. You have to be an actual sociopath to NOT struggle with that thought.

Matthew Williams I'm not at all saying he should just "man up and do it," I'm saying that there's a massive difference between having to psyche yourself up to stab/hammer someone to death, and pouring something into a water jug. He's been a scientist for a good part of his life, is one at heart, and even though he can't go through with it until he absolutely has to, he's aware of other methods that he doesn't even consider. I literally admitted that he could just be panicking and thus has no idea what to do or how to go about it.
