No he's not. Bertholdt knew that the scouts weren't devils and that killing them was no good thing, but he still tried to kill them all. Reiner had a split personality and he even tried to kill himself because of his guilt. But Bert knew that he was killing people and killed alot of people. But he's nicer than Annie. Because she literally threatened the scouts again and didn't feel any guilt.

Infact, his idea was pretty good because the remaining eldians can live their lives in peace and the curse of titans would be gone aswell. Theres also the fact that Grisha wouldnt've killed the Reiss family if it wasn't for Eren. Grisha, Eren, Reiner, and Ymir were the most tortured people in the show and imo Ymir is probably up there with Armin as the kindest people in the show. Excluding titan shifters, King fritz, and the guy who was pushed by the owl are among the most evil. Also I think Eren is more evil than Zeke because he's essentially doing the same thing Zeke is doing but through murder. I honestly believe in a world like AoT Zeke's plan is the most logical bc if it happened Titans wouldn't exist and we can only imagie how peaceful the world would be. The only two options are kill of an entire race or prevent Eldians from having children which imo is also a way for Eldians to atone for their sins. Eldians could still live in peace before they gradually die out due to the founding titan in Eren, and maybe could've even reached a compromise with Marley due to that huge sacrifice.

How the hell is Zeke more evil than Eren? If Eren has good intentions how does Zeke not? Zeke wants to get rid of all subjects of Ymir in a quite peaceful way in my opinion. This is to eradicate all the Titans and create peace. To be honest the idea “good and bad” is truly subjective, because there are both positive and negative and positive view points and deed/actions. While you make a point on these statements, I feel that you misunderstood what Zeke Yeager meant. He wanted to avoid the mass genocide of the whole world so to allow both sides to live to make the subjects of Ymir unable to give birth, while sad indeed, was going to save the need to kill anybody. I’m not siding with zeke and I disagree with this method to bring peace but, Im trying to say why I disagree with the statement that zeke is the most “evil”.

In the bigger scheme of things, Zeke's plan was the way to go. The most peaceful way to eliminate titan power from continuing. It wouldn't involve killing most of living humans like Eren did (what a selfish immature act). Spoiler warning for the manga: Armin Arlert killed hundreds of thousands of Marleyans while nuking the port during the Attack on Marley, not too golden there in my opinion. Frieda Reiss also became a slave to Karl Fritz, mindless like the rest of the Royal Family. The Owl, or Eren Kruger, couldn't do anything. Also, if he blew is cover, he would be killed, and couldn't help the restorations if he wad dead. Pieck wasn't a great person, she killed her own people for Marley, and eventually betrayed Marley. She's a traitor to Marley, and her own people. Reiner developed a split personality for his guilt, and Reiner had extreme PTSD. He wanted to kill himself so many times, and his morales were incinerated after kidnapping Eren. Annie wanted to go home to her father, and just get the mission over. She had remorse, but said she'd do it all over again to get to the one thing in her life that had meaning. Willy and Lara speak for themselves. Eren wanted his friends to kill him so the rest of the world would be in debt to Paradis. And even if they hated them, Paradis would be 10x more advanced and stand a chance against the foreign powers. He loved his friends, and his goals wasn't wiping out the world. He wanted his friends to kill him so that he could prove not all the people on Paradis were devils. Zeke was indoctrinated, his father showed no love for him, and was a crazed radical. His grandparents were the opposite, and so he sold out his parents to keep him and his grandparents safe. Zeke had a terrible childhood, and was forced to become a warrior. Edit: Grammar mistakes.

Which if his plan did succeed, they would've been killed by the Yeagerists. Eren sent a message to all of his friends individually in the paths, which wasn't shown till the end of AoT's manga, which is why it hasn't been animated yet. His goal WAS to die, not to destroy an entire race of people. You need to understand Eren's mindset, he loved his friends more than his idea of freedom, he wanted them to live long lives. Him killing all those people was to get his friends to kill him, and show them that not all the Eldians were bad.

And thus, 80% of the worlds population was lost (including countless Eldians) but if Zeke went on with his plan, only a small fraction of that would be lost and in a far less brutal way.

You also have to understand that zeke would have done his plan despite a war. Eren's was a direct cause of an unjustified and unessisary and unprovoked war. Eren is definetaly worse than Zeke. They have similar goals, but Zeke wants to achieve world peace by sacrificing his people for the world. Eren wants peace by sacrificing the world for his people. Both are far too extreme, but being unable to make babies > getting stepped on by collossal titans.

I'd fully agree; simply looking at numbers it's clear that the death of fewer than 400,000 people is less bad than the death of more than 1,600,000 people (of course there is the classic ethical problem known as the trolley problem, but that's a discussion for another day). Plus, even today some people say that we should simply stop having children and let our species fade out peacefully.

I don’t know whether you know the ending of AOT but in my opinion you can’t arrange the characters as evil or good. And everyone in AOT did evil and good thing but it always depends on the POV. But I think it’s a good ranking if you just focus on the things the characters did. Good Job
