iMovie Voiceover Tutorial 2023 | MacOS

Eric,QUESTION PLEASE? I’m have a difficult time finding the proper equipment to connect my Rode wireless go system to my new 2023 MacBook Pro.I have a channel and do my editing on iMovie and have cords and more cords…when I connected do I put on input or output? can you recommend what I need to connect them please ! Lea

I have never used a Rode wireless Go but here is a video that might help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qoqtfpysbseSj6M Also, If they Rode has internal SD card or storage. You could record onto it and then bring in the audio to your computer via the memory card. Once there you can sync up the video (I'd do a big clap or 2 at the beginning of your recording so you can see it in the audio/video. Those are a couple guesses/potential solutions that might help.

this is unhelpful...all of my microphone options refuse to register any audio volume.

Well, if you told me what kind of mic's you have tried instead of just saying it's "unhelpful", maybe we could try to figure out the problem. Try using quicktime player to record some audio to see if they work there. Or try GarageBand to see if they work there. Try updating your computer to the newest version of MacOS through the software update. Basically, I need more information about your setup 🙂
