Impact of Climate Change on Snow Leopard Habitat

According to the Living Planet Report 2022, on an average, there was a 69 percent decline in the monitored wildlife population around the world between 1970 and 2018. Highland communities are among the most impacted by climate change. In Bhutan, this poses threat to the habitat of wildlife in our highlands such as the iconic Snow Leopard and Blue Sheep.
