Thank you Dr. Cates! I've been waiting for this one. I'm getting better slowly, but not on my death bed anymore. It's been 6 months and every month I make progress. Dr. Carnahan did an amazing job at explaining this disease. I actually came across her when I started researching more about CIRS after my diagnosis. it's so ironic that she has an office in Louisville, CO and my sister, who's been ill for a decade, lives there. Unfortunately, like most awesome doctors that can actually help, she has a 2 year wait list and fees that are hardly manageable for a single mom with 3 kids. I hope more doctors get on board because there are far too many people I'll with this disease and are being prescribed medication after medication for symptoms that are related to mold exposure. Thank you again to you both for educating all of us. 🤗

VERY informative, especially the part about the self testing. I didn’t know there was a test you could do yourself! I had this, and now my grown son has it, and now her he can test himself

I know what you mean I was exposed to.mold,on my job as,a Federal Ranger at Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge I was exposed to Stachybotris and Aspergillus toxic black mold due to a faulty AC unit install by Stone Cold Heating and AC the condensation drained indoors you are not crazy many doctors are not skilled in this field I have had my kidney removed heart attack arrhythmia anxiety depression hair loss heart surgery was diagnosed with autoimmune syndrome of my digestive tract. I have been treated very much the same my manager stated mold is a media created sensation. THE air quality test showed my air quality was poisoned and that no one should enter my workspaces without protective gear. I worked within it for several months 8 hours a day I'm too stupid to die.

I am so sorry!!! Where are you now with your health? I've been so sick for many years! I've wanted to die. :( After many different diagnosises throughout the years, I'm now seeing a specialist who suspected mold and sure enough all tests have been positive. I was actually little relieved to know what, but now I'm freaking out on how to get better.

I will recommend to my clients to view your videos - most people do not understand the importance of testing your environment - If there is an issue proper mitigation following the IICRC S -520 protocol is what I always recommend - you should consider telling your audience about the scams of the mold removal company's and dangers - companies are using the enzyme to neutralize the mold without removing not following the proper protocol - The enzyme is not approved for mold treatment - The enzyme is a bacteria-catalyst - breathing such over time might be as bad for your health or worse for your health than mold itself - I have been unable to find any case study - Several physicians are telling me that this could be like the new asbestos 20 years from now - Scams do not just exist in Pittsburgh it's everywhere - scammers and it's scary.

Thank you so much for this!! I feel like I'm going crazy. My doctor's don't know what is wrong with me. I've seen a sinus specialist, nuerologist, and I'm going to see an immunologist soon. I have every single simple that Dr Jill has mentioned. My parents just renovated their house and we live in their in law portion..maybe there was mold somewhere.

We need to be aware of other molds than those in the buildings. I noticed the depression I was having coincided with the daily pollen count having high mold. The mold floating in the air, post rain, kills me. Your building does not need to be moldy to make you feel a total lack of endorphins/energy/personality. My home is new...no mold yet. You can also accumulate a load of mold toxins by eating corn, salami, cheese, drinking wine, gardening or walking though a forest and much more. It just depends on our unique genetics which ones we can or can't tolerate. Think to make the connections to other sources of molds is all I am saying.
