I didn't realize how strong those magnets are. Is this using a stock the same weight as the maximum permissible load? It seems like a useless test if the steel is under the maximum weight.

Yes, the weight of this stock is the same as the safe working load. Our lifting magnets are designed with 3:1 safety factor, ensuring safety.

@@HVRMagneticsCoLtd that SF is crazy... I thought 2:1 would be sufficient but I guess you can't control what the people who you sell these to will do with your equipment... I've personally seen my fair share of operators exceeding guidelines haha

@@woodduck That's because our lifting magnets are often used outdoors, for example in harbors, and need to cope with extreme weather. The safer the better.
