Strange. I have the same craftsman gun that I used at the dealership, and it took off Tundra Lug nuts torqued to 130 ft lbs instantly. The biggest selling point is that the gun is extremely light and feels great in the hand!

Im sure in a Shop with unlimited air and 1/2 inch hose and fittings it rip . not in the home . I use a IR ir 2235max it has not failed to bust any nuts yet . thats off 1/4 fittings and 90 psi . The Kobalt 1000 was a good one also, i gave it to the Son in law. he works in a Auto shop building engines.

@@JCcanU I believe our shop was using 3/8" NPT automotive air fittings. We definitely had a beefy compressor because it had to be able to run air tools for 25 vehicle stalls continuously.

@@300zxturbo I worked in a Big Shop and we ran air tools of every everything air hammers grinders drills impacts , the tank was 20 foot long and 3 foot round with 2 two stage pumps to fill it with 1 inch black pipe to every station . it makes a difference for sure .

Yeah man there’s no problems with my 750MAX I think what you did but you didn’t put it on the camera you had heated up that nut and then use the older impact to get it off

you could quit your job making videos like these. your the only person that doesnt have $20,000 worth of gauges and charts and graphs and ACTUALLY USES THE TOOL ON SOMETHING REAL. also good job going over the set up briefly. like the compressor and psi. you could even see your cfm output. the only thing i wanted to tell you is about Hi Flow fititngs. 25$ for milton purple. im going to try them out. dont know if they make a difference yet. i do know that they make your cut off wheels and die grinders SCREAM

High flow work if your tank has a 1/2 inch outlet mine is a 1/4 outlet so use 1/4 fittings going hi flow with the 1/4 outlet defeats its self less air coming from the tank to the hose .

@@JCcanU that sounds correct. It's like folks who go through their engine to add tons of hp. But don't realize the rest of the drive line is going to get taxed harder.

Have you tried higher line pressure

Every Compressor I get I turn down the out put to 125 PSI less wear tear on the pump the pistons or piston are just plastic to build up the extra 25 to 60 psi the run time is longer and it gets to hot in turn wears out the compressor faster . all Impacts use 90 psi , I have a IR max picked up from a pawn shop it will do 1000 pounds of torque rust don't stop the max , I have a Video of a Kobalt 1000 it is about the same as the IR max i used Loctite on the threads blue and red for the torque test in my videos.

@@terrellscaife2411 oil filled only help cool them down I worked with air back in the 1970's Huge air pumps every 2 years we changed out the pistons are air tank was 3/4 inch thick , used alcohol so airlines did not freeze PSI was set at 120 the pump could do 60 CFM . it was made to last 50 years . ran 24 hours only took a few hours to swap pistons . if it broke down we swap a pump .

That sound like a really Moster air compressor

You need to turn the dial on the gun left to the low setting. The high setting is for speed not overall torque strength.
