I love how Sting was genuinely trying to put AJ over even when AJ gave him his moment at the end. Such a pro & wholesome dude

My dad took me to this show from San Francisco because Sting is my GOAT. Wish he won but AJ is amazing & his impromptu speech to the crowd afterwards always stuck with me. All my friends in school were so jealous because at that time TNA / spike TV was the coolest thing in the world

I find it wild that it was hinted that this match in 2009 would be Sting’s last match and now it’s 2024 and he’s only now wrestling his retirement match (presumably, you just never truly know).

hmm what exactly happened with tara? was that shoot or just all part of the plan? i always liked her i just thought she was a bit ahead of her time for WWE when she was there, a bit too stiff for the other women. that slap alone to phoenix was so gnarly. id be so scared if she charged me lol, i wouldnt ever try picking a fight with any of these women in the singles match. (edit) aaaah it was a work shoot. thought so, not bad! shes always been a pretty straight forward worker so that was a decent attempt. i caught onto TNAS during its weekly ppvs and tok a break with wrestling after benoit and eddie died.TNA brought me back around 08-09 and in my opinion was far more interesting than WWE. many solid moments i feel like alot of wrestlers who came back or finally went over to WWE from WCW got a chance to redeem themselves after the poor runs WWE gave them that nearly buried their careers away. with exception to injuries like nash and the NWO arc. alot of amazing mid cards got their chance to show us they were top of the card material and WWE slept on them while also increasing their own value. they deserved it for all the years of blood, sweat, tears, used as expendable resources and constantly overlooked.

I've been training for so long for this chance and I'm not going to lose The females: oh my goodness they are soooooo not prettier than we are, and when we win this match, we will have some neeeeew belts to go round our teeny tiny waists because us girls love to accessorise 💋💋💋💋
