Yea it’s weird but it works. Car will crank right up slight strike the fuse box as well

It all depends it could be your purge valve or u just might need a starter. Also the battery terminal

2008 impala 3.5 v6….new starter, new alternator, and battery. Starts finally but I have to get the gas, I also smell gas. Once I start driving it cuts off

02 Sensor needs to be changed i had 3 of them and they all smelled like gas till i changed the 02, bc its running too rich so you smell more gas and its not reading correctly on the map sensor so it wont allow the car to keep running while rich

Make sure your fuse box is tightly screwed in and secured. then check your fuses. Check for a bad ground. Run a code reader on the car. Check your starter. Check the battery. Could be a bad crank position sensor if anything.

You have to be careful sometimes u can turn the key too fast. Change the fuse or hit the fuse Bose a few times

Bro, please help me out. I change the ignition coral. My relay is good. I have a brand new battery and I recently just changed my ECM and it still won’t crank. It sounds like it’s about to crank but won’t turn all the way over.

U might want check on your starter if u can locate it tap on the starter with a screwdriver

It’s an emergency hack to save you a few a hundred dollars and u don’t have to wait hours for a tow truck. Once u can get the car started u take it to the shop. Many ppl have told me this worked but hey do what you gotta do Another trick with Chevys is if your car won’t start put the car in neutral and try to start it.
