@ϏƗȐȺ Ϫ999 good luck. Hell is not the glamour certain icons make it out to be my friend. The Bible teaches that no one is righteousness, and that the sin debt must be paid. Christ is not “our leader” he is a historical figure who absolutely lived and was crucified by Roman historical documents and contemporaries such as Josephus. Can’t pay your own my friend. Freedom is not free. It comes with a cost. And the cost is to high for you to pay. You’ve been warned. “Cultural masses” you listen to much metal bro haha. There is no cultural masses, in fact we’re outnumbered 10:1. Revelation states this clearly. We will die. We will be murdered in great numbered. We, by all human accounts, are already at war. Spiritual warfare my friend. But the physical war is coming. Can’t you feel it? That disconcerting feeling that something isn’t quite right? Satan is an angel bro. He is no polar opposite in power. Philosophically speaking CS Lewis put it succinctly when he said that evil is only corrupted good for evil cannot exist without a good to be soured. Every culture on earth has tried to save itself. From Adam, to Noah, to Babylon, to Pick a power. They all fell. Many mighty warriors much greater in stature and legend than yourself. But in this earth, this earth that perishes, so do your works. Like dust in the wind. Without Christ you a child thrashing against the raging sea of your own destruction. Give me a break homie and listen to another mind numbing escape from your impending destruction.
@ashtonlange46162 жыл бұрын
@ϏƗȐȺ Ϫ999 everything Satan has he stole. Our cross, our God’s namesake, his supposed power, he is a liar and a thief. There is no truth in the snake. The best way to win the war is by securing victory before the first shot is fired. That is the power of the cross my friend. Your a defeated foe alongside your “god” who will, likewise by the way, burn in hell forever. A fiery torment, not a sinners party and paradise, full of excruciating agony and suffering. Have fun getting there yourself sport. 😂

"Just know that I’m standing with lions, and we’re ready for war!" "I can feel my anger rising up!" How are these words consistent with Jesus' teachings on "Love Thy Neighbor as Thyself" What about Phil 4:8? Perhaps this is a new movement? One that encourages war and violence in god's (bull el-elohim) name? This is a movement based on worldly principles not Christian.
@pantenary2217 Жыл бұрын
Is it for no reason that the full armor of God is specified in Ephesians 6:10 to 18? Or resisting the devil as James 4:7 states? Shall we eliminate the Book of Judges and significant portions of Revelation, that speak of violent warfare, but physical and spiritual? I certainly do not elevate a heavy metal song to the level of Scripture, but to suggest that we as Christians are not in an unrelenting spiritual war, that often calls for physical action, is naive at best, and flat wrong at worst. The song seems to clearly reference this spiritual war, not the senseless killing of whoever 'in God's name'.
@apologete567 Жыл бұрын
pantenary2217 Revisions: "I can feel my anger rising" is inconsistent with Jesus' philosophy. Throughout his teachings and actions, Jesus consistently emphasized love, peace, forgiveness and non-violence. His message was centered around spiritual transformation, reconciliation, and the establishment of God's kingdom on earth through love and compassion. Matthew 5:38-39 Matthew 5:44-45 Matthew 26: 52 Instead of advocating for physical action in spiritual warfare, Jesus focused on addressing the root causes of evil through spiritual means. He taught about repentance, forgiveness, and inner transformation as essential components of spiritual warfare. In Matthew 15:19, Jesus says, "For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander." This teaching emphasizes the importance of addressing the inner condition of the heart rather than engaging in physical battles. In John 18:36 he stated "my kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place". This statement indicates that Jesus's mission was not to establish a physical kingdom through military means, but rather to bring about spiritual transformation and salvation. Yeshua was all about restoration not retribution. Once again, by focusing on inner transformation and addressing the root causes of evil, Jesus taught his followers to engage in spiritual warfare through love and prayer rather than through physical aggression. Reread those passages. Reread Ephesians 6:10-18 Like I said, you must be part of a new movement, a worldy one. Using the esegetical approach to Scripture is not an option here. Talk about "naive at best and flat wrong at worst". Your last phrase is not at all what I am conveying. Obviously you are not familiar with Jesus's teachings. Keep at it, though, you'll figure it out someday.
@WatchtowerofBabel Жыл бұрын
Yes, Jesus made that clear. Unfortunately, there are new christian movements out there promoting the wrong idea. Hey ignorance is bliss, I suppose, but in this case, it makes it dangerous.
@yungwayne3268 Жыл бұрын
he’s speaking of righteous anger, as christians we are allowed to be angry at the injustices of the world. he’s talking about spiritual warfare. he is not promoting violence nor does this contradict love thy neighbor in anyway. anger is not opposite of love- that would be hatred. if you wanna quote scripture how about referencing John 2:13-25, Matthew 21:12-13, Mark 2:15-17, Luke 2:45-46. All of these verses speak of Jesus himself being righteously angry. It goes without saying this doesn’t mean that we should be quick to anger, or unmerciful or unforgiving.
@apologete567 Жыл бұрын
@@yungwayne3268 So, the problem with anger is very simple: According to Master Yoda, anger is a product of fear. Anger then leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering. Naturally, everyone gets angry as it a human feeling. However, we need to push anger away since it serves no purpose. Can you think of a purpose it serves? Does it help motivate you? You should already be motivated. Does it make you think things through better? No. Does it make you look like a peace-loving Christian that others want to emulate? Nope! According to Bruce Lee, you need to push that extreme emotion aside since it takes you out of focus and makes you vulnerable. In the context of Christian death metal, there needs to be an emotion that matches up with the music, otherwise, if we took Amy Grant lyrics and superimposed them onto Impending-Doom-type stuff, it would sound stupid. Therefore, Christian death metal bands need to produce some scary / angry / out-of-control / rough-sounding lyrics to be consistent with the vibe of the music. THIS is the main reason why everyone involved in this genre tries to justify anger. Since politics is almost ALWAYS mixed in with religion, the added anger element produces events like the attempted takeover of the U.S. Capitol. The problem with encouraging Christians to become political activists is that it makes them look really bad and their credibility goes out the window. Whatever... not my circus, not my monkeys. If you all want to make yourselves appear worldly to non-Christians and also look "radicalized" like other religious zealots, then this really works against the cause and - as you may recall, Jesus was not about attaining worldly power. Radicalized political activists ARE attempting to wield worldly political power. This is what anger will get you, if that is the path you want to take.
