Thanks for this guide! Still relevant. I had been stuck on CT2 for a long time, but recently bought the Trooper LSB so wanted to give this a shot. Using Veers (G12), Piett (G12/R0), Range (R3), Dark (R3) and Death Trooper (R3) was able to 3* both CT2 and CT3. The key from the video was switching our Gideon for Death Trooper. His Daze/Stun was absolutely key. Plus the 30-40 restarts to get a decent opening and get the TM train going. Your guides always much appreciated :-)

Another great vid. Followed your advice for Secrets & Shadows for Tier 2 and managed to do it and now followed your advice for Rebel Roundup tier 3 and completed it as well. In fact my Death Trooper & Range Trooper were only G12 but after a few unlucky RNGs in the phase 1 wave, I managed to get all 5 to survive and then it was plain sailing. Massive thanks :)

It can take up to 20-30 attempts, but luckily now we can sim :)

Bro!! Been stuck on this phase for a few rotations now even with R5 Gideon and dark trooper. Tried this was and even with my g12 death trooper and g12 range I cleared without loosing a player!! Big respect

Cheers! I used to keep trying it with Bounty Hunters and nearly managed to get phase 8 done until remaining about 3 rebels wiped us out. But this way it's a lot easier, just like with those Ewoks. Thanks again!!

Worked well for me with even lower geared Death and Range (G12+3). Just dropped my best mods and ran through T2 & T3 with ease.

Still works. I had to restart a couple of times to have all my guys alive and then to put emperors trap on Stark instead of using the AOE daze as I had been trying. After that I don’t think they turn other than Han with his shoots first in the next to last stage.

I spent as much time moving and removing mods than I did trying to finally get that third star. I didn't use Death, but Storm helped absorb the occasional hit instead of watching those ridiculous one-shot casualties. Even the last waves were much easier than wave 1. They probably coded it that way to get people to spend to gear Troopers rosters to unlock the Sim option. I'd would actually spend just to get my Scout, Army, and Flametroopers to augment my IT/Imperial Remnant squads. Completion of TIER 3 Roundup, another Red Crate for both accounts, and a couple big steps towards JtH. Not a bad day for gaming.

Thanks beaten with 3*s, i had g12 death trooper and Range trooper, but rest relic 8, relic 5 and 3, key is to get death trooper potency, his daze and stuns were key to success.

Love these being posted just before the event. Really helps. Just a quick question, I thought Imps were better modded with offence as they gain loads of bonus TM. Is it just for the first wave? My Gideon and Range are only G12, wish me luck! 😂

Great video! How crucial is Death trooper? I am running similar to you, R5 piett, R3 Starck and Veers, R1 Darktrooper and G12 Range. Do you think i need to be relic across all of them to survive or is it really just about having Deathtrooper?

thanks, I didn't have Dark yet back then, so used Death instead. I think if you have Dark he is the better choice over Death!

I have piett at r9, starck and veers R5, death trooper at R3 my range is only g10 though, is this doable with a R3 shoretrooper instead of range trooper?

I beat it first try with R8 piett, R3 veers, R3 starck, G12 +1 range and G11 +2 dark trooper. I put my arena mods on the G12 and up chars. So very high speeds etc. Put imperial ambition on Starck and you should be good to go from there just off turn meter alone. It's weird it gets easier as you go through the rounds. Round 8 is super easy.

I have everyone r3 and can’t get out of first wave without losing at least 1 character. One time I lost everyone in the first wave. How many restarts did you? Is this Tier 2?

Nevermind, after I wrote that was able to pass 1st wave. Last wave ROLO obliterated my team wirh her AOE, took 3 (almost 4) of my guys out. Not worth wasting my time again running it back. Thanks for the video on it though.

Honestly, with those mods it's hard to believe this is CT3. Also the first wave seems shorter than normally.

Mods don't matter so much as enemy has very high speed, you rely on Piety gaining lots of Bonus TM when his allies are hit. It takes a few attempts for everyone to survive the opening wave, but once you get rolling, it's over :)

This one was way more annoying than forest moon. I tried it with dark trooper so many times but I just couldn't make it work, switched to death trooper and i got it. All g12 IT except Piett at R8. Thanks

I don't get it because I'm really gettin DESTROYED even with the same speed and some higher relic level on my dudes. I just have dark trooper instead of death trooper, but my first turn with stark, whatever I do they then attack again and destroy at least 2 guys :( there is also a taunt before my turn everytime you didnt get.

you need Death trooper, because he has AOE dispel, so that is how you get rid of taunts

Have they changed difficulty? Playing your exact team but with far stronger characters and can’t survive the first wave. Not even close.
