Yeah, it's so cool and so well animated, but then you finally get Paladin Mode and it just stabs Armageddemon's head once. I want him to sheer this thing apart, not just poke it, lol! It's so much less satisfying at the end than it could have been. Also, no idea what was up with the whistle and harmonica thing opening up a portal? That part is still just weird.

This is still one of the best evolution sequences in the franchise, or at least multi-stage evolutions. It's quick, timed well, simple, set to awesome music. This is the multi-stage evolution sequence I wanted out of Tri, not the full sequence every time, given their limited runtime.

Well yes but as most others already explained here are it and his other OP attacks Mega and Giga Death attacks that have a massive radios meaning for most of imperealdramons appearances would using it have ended with him killing hundreds if not thousands of people. He only could use it here because Armagadomon was deep in a large lake far enough removed from the buildings for the attack to also hit them.

The Royal Knight Omnimon was in existence by the time of the events surrounding the X-Antibody, and Imperialdramon PM's sword is pretty well situated as Omnimon's essence, so Imperialdramon probably just turned back to DM/FM after gathering the knights.

There's no need for Imperialdramon PM to drag their fight or else, the casualty would have worsen. He didn't just stabbed Armageddomon, that was his signature attack called Omega Blade.

This movie was only made to give the 02 another power up against the 01 kids. My issue with 02 has always been the treatment the 01 kids gets. Not saying tri did it Justice because they ignored the 02 completely. I just wish they would make a digimon series or movie where the 01 and 02 kids work together and everyone has their moment to shine but most of all Tai and Matt are still the main.

I mean hell even the reboot overtunes Tai to the point the others feel like an afterthought but 02 didn't really place them all that well in this series.

@@AdamAnouer the reboot didn’t do justice at all. Is a very forgettable series at least for me. I was very excited for tri because I was hoping it was going to have a good plot and mix both 01 and 02 kids together for once but nope. Last evolution was a good movie definitely gave me toy story 3 vibes, but once again they didn’t mix both generations fairly. The new movie for the 02, I’ll definitely watch it but is the same issue. Just one generation of focus. Maybe in the new movie they might explain how tai and others can get their digimon back. I just wish we get a season series of both 01 and 02 kids actually sharing the spotlight. Tri had the biggest chance and potential but it’s gone.

I like the 02 crew but the problem they had with the series is the same as other sequels. Always nerfing the originals so the others can shine and create story/drama. Honestly, Armageddemon is virtually too powerful already Omnimon also took more hits than Imperialdramon because Imperialdramon is the second most powerful Digimon within the digidestined. Another thing I realized that Omnimon didn’t actually lose he just ran out of energy as Tentomon stated. He took two hits directly and didn’t even scratch. The arms falling down was a symbol of him losing energy since Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon were tired. If all the digidestined did give their energy with hope and light to Omnimon even more he may would have won since Omnimon is the goodness of people with diaboromon as the opposite. Imperialdramon paladin mode was the founder of the royal knight but with Omnimons power. So in theory Omnimon merciful mode is a lot stronger and powerful than any other Digimon so far since it’s his strongest form. Considering the last movie that’s coming out soon of Digimon. Besides Agumon and Gabumons legendary bond form I think with them combined would be the most powerful Digimon in Digi history. Omnimon God mode or something

Omnimon didn't run out of energy, His ability Omega in Force makes sure he can fight without getting tired, even if he didnt run out of energy, he wouln't be able to defeat Armageddemon and he would lose eventually. Omnimon gave it it's all and even manage to stab Armageddemon with the Grey Sword but it did nothing meanwhile Armageddemon never even use it's alternate special move 'Black Rain'.
