Eventually someone is going to find out where that 100,000 initially went to and when they come to you demanding it back, and you don’t have it, you’re probably gonna get sued, somehow someway legally forced to sell what you have to give them back their money. The precedent by law in previous cases is if the person wrongfully sent the money spends it, they are required to pay it back, even if they didn't notice immediately they'd eventually notice you kept the money

If it's a mistake, yes they legally have to give it back. There was a huge case in the US that happened similar to this, a bank accidentally sent 7 million dollars to someone's account and that person kept. That person ended up getting charged and ended up having to pay that money back even after spending it.
