There is half a Dwarven ship on the top of a mountain in solstheim that appears to be powered by some Dwarven machinery that is still running inside. Its hidden in a reikling camp. The ship is upside down and obviously smashed as you only find a small portion of the stern. It appears to have been smashed by crashing into the mountain where it lies, as if it flew from somewhere and crashed right there. The reiklings built their camp from the rest of the wood. I always thought it was an experimental boat the dwarves were working on that had so much power it flew out of the water and crashed on shore... but maybe it was a Dwarven space ship after all! Thats such a neat thought! Go check it out and see if it fits in with this historical lore!

Also when you think about it High Rock is a power house if all Kingdoms worked together since they all build militaries the size of other provinces but they almost never band together

the whole "space" concept is wildly different in this world.. Space is more of a dimension than something you can physically move to. There is nirn in the center, then around nirn is the realms of the divines (the realms actually ARE the divines themselves) but due to using all their power they have little influence left besides making a kind of "shield" around the realm of nirn. On the other side of them is the void of oblivion, which is where all the realms of the daedric princes are. The daedra stayed within the vicinity of nirn, but did not use their power to create it so they still retained much of their power. this is all surrounded by Aetherius, which is where all the original spirits came from and also where all magic comes from (how the sunwells in oblivion got their power). Stars are actually holes in the void into Aetherius created by all the gods that left when they realized theyre power was being drained. Magnus created the largest of these which leaked magic into nirn making him the "god of mages" type of figure. The space programs were people trying to cross the oblivion void into the realm of Aetherius, but leaving in a "spaceship" isnt the same as it is for us. They are actually leaving a dimension, making it hypothetically possible to travel to the realms of the deadric lords and beyond into Aetherius. So you wouldnt exactly fly to another planet and land its more of physically moving to another dimension and flying straight to the space in the void a realm is located, instead of using magic to teleport directly to it.
@wardeni48065 жыл бұрын
From what I understand, it's more like the Elder Scrolls world is actually a large space that was carved out as separate from Aetherius and Oblivion. Imagine a large, empty sphere. Inside that Sphere, there is the main planet: Nirn. Around Nirn are the other Planets, created by the Divines who chose to remain in that world instead of escaping back to Aetherius. All of the stars and the sun itself are actually holes punctured into the outer layer of the sphere, and the light that comes through is actually from Aetherius. So, theoretically it would be possible to travel from Nirn to the moons for example, because between them is just empty space. However, the whole thing is surrounded by Aetherius, blocked off by some type of wall, so there's only so far you could travel. So; the mortal plane is like a bubble "inside" Aetherius, and Nirn and the other planets are all inside that bubble.
@06burhan5 жыл бұрын
The Aetherius is the desktop. Vivec and Tiber Septim knew that everything were unreal (a game). This is why Vivec wanted to be every race, every gender, every choice (the player) but at the end could be only Vivec (the npc he was ment to be) according to Sotha Sil. Sil himself was at the verge of realizing the truth but failed and accepted everything as they were to find peace. A theory i like.

yup that is the real question we probably would've found out in the skyrim main quest (the one that was originally gonna happen)
@finn_in_the_bin52633 жыл бұрын
my guess is it's to do with their fascination with dragons. according to the lore i've been hyperfixating on for now 5 days straight, the Tsaesci seemed fixated on dragons, my theory is it was out of a desire to gain their power by doing.... whatever tf it meant when people said they 'ate' and 'became' (paraphrasing and also its 3 am) people, to the dragons. likely, as probably at *least* humanOID creatures, if not literal humans, once they found out about men with the blood and/or souls of dragons, they figured that was a far more manageable way to achieve whatever they wanted to do with dragons to gain their power- either by serving or 'consuming' a dragonborn man (or mer, idk 100% the lore on that but i know my dragonborn in skyrim was a dunmer or bosmer 90% of the time)

What do you think about this that the last dragonborn would be after winning civil war on side empire or stormcloak (nevermind really) and assatination Titus Mede II, be a new fundator of next human empire and take place after Reman I and Tiber Septim as a new hero god of men?
@troodon10967 жыл бұрын
Probably unlikely, if for no other reason than in previous games the player character usually was a lone wolf hero, not a major leader. Besides it's not known (because it's the player's decision) that the dragonborn is even human. The box art depicts him as a Nord but well, since it's the player's choice, that may not necessarily be canon. It's not impossible but I wouldn't bet money on it.

The last dragonborn couldnt become emperor. 1- he is the LAST dragonborn so he's also the LAST dragonblood. The elder council won't agree with the idea of an adoptive heir. 2- the last dragonborn's maybe not human, maybe altmer so maybe thalmor or
@alexandregrenier78617 жыл бұрын
He's maybe dunmer so maybe a follower of the great houses. 3- like all other playable character in tes, nobody knows him and nobody'll remember his/her race, sex, ranks in the society. If the last dragonborn could become emperor, bethesda would have to take a decision about your sex, race, etc
@facundomontivero22997 жыл бұрын
That's very unlikely. The Elder Scrolls series has the habit of making the protagonist of a previous game disappear by the time of the next one, and we are usually told that they didn't acomplish anything else besides what quests they could do in their game. The Nereravine went to Akavir and disappeared, the Hero of Kvatch became Sheogorath losing his previous identity in the process. And what of the Dragonborn? I bet that we'll be told that the Dragonborn disappeared after he travelled to Solstheim, there will probably be NPCs or a book talking about how "some locals claim that he became the champion of the daedric prince Hermaeus Mora and travelled to Apocrypha". Why else would they make it that in order to defeat Miraak we have to do what Hermaues Mora says and become his champion? To have one action that ALL the players made as the Dragonborn to mention in the next game.

Why was the Empire from Elder Scrolls, inspired by the Roman Empire?

Wait the leader of the Akaviri Potentate is not a snake. They were humans, asian like people
@ricardodeleon30415 жыл бұрын
That's a great debate on lore the Tsaecie are described as snake like people, this can be taken as litteral or not, they are from the Akavir islands which is basically Japan, and it's said that no human has lived there in many ages (which favours the Tsaecie as snake people)
@gothic3theageofwar5655 жыл бұрын
Or it’s simply a reference to their battle banners that could represent a snake, therefore they’re called “snakes”. This is also a thing that happened in real history calling the enemies like the animal represented on the battle flags. I think the Imperial Legion too rarely are referred as dragons. I think they’re referred as snakes because a snake is pictured on their battle flags
