When you were describing the bond between the Welkynars and their gryphons I had the same thoughts about the parallels with the Inheritance Cycle. I absolutely love those books and highly recommend them to anyone who has not read them. It’s too bad the movie was a flop though. I think it had a lot of potential; it was just very poorly executed…

Man, this is a great Order of Knights, amazing work as always! Also, the Altmer of Summerset Isles... a beautiful and amazing Race. May the Aldmeri Dominion achieve great victory in it's future, and avenge their Mer cousins who have fallen across the Ages to the Genocidal races of Man.

I disagree. The elves got what they deserved for harming my human brethren. Elves are the ones who started the war, we finished it.
@thalmoragent9344

@@someonlinedouche6992 Um, technically Elves didn't start any of the wars, it was technically humans, whether in response or as instigators, but in terms of actual warfare, the Mer haven't started many. Now, Rebellion against the Aylieds is of course justified, but I digress. And no, not all the Elves "got what they deserved". Many innocent Mer died leading to the end of the Merethic Era. Plus, last I checked, the Nords started the wars against the Dwemer, Chimer, and Direnni Elves in their expansion, despite none of those 3 races of Mer ever starting a conflict with them, for the record. The Aylieds who helped Allesia and her rebellion stuck around and were actually needed to help make the first human Empire function in the first place. Nearly 100 years AFTER the Rebellion, innocent Aylieds who had once been allies or born after the war were forced out or killed by the Humans in Cyrodiil, which is a pretty dick move by the humans, to be honest. If you think about it too, not once has a Race of Mer ever put a race of Humans to Extinction. Humans have done it 3 times already, but Elves have never done so. Elves also have never destroyed an entire Continent on their own either, like the Redguards. Elves also haven't invaded Provinces and killed everyone in them, like Redguards and Nords, and neither have Mer caused Dragon Breaks and mess up reality like Humans. Shoot, by making more Towers, the Elves have technically done more to actually Stabilize Nirn for quite some time, not destabilize it. And make no mistake, the Thalmor (or rather, 3rd Aldmeri Dominion) aren't the instigators here, it was Tiber Septum. He grabbed the Numidium and annihilated part of Summerset, committing atrocities upon the population there, and many innocent Mer died in the process. They weren't at war, he just popped up and dragged them into the Empire with no legal declaration or anything at all. And the Humans worship him as a God now, an official part of the Empire that they're now forcefully a part of... the Altmer have VERY good reason to be pissed about Talos.

@@curtiswong7280 Praise to Queen Ayrenn! Long may her Reign be remembered by all Mer! And all the great, kind, and benevolent rulers of the Races of Mer, the sons and daughters of Aldmeris! @@thalmoragent9344 One, it was me poking fun at ya! I wasn't serious. As for the Redguard and the Left Handed elves we have no idea what started that conflict to begin with. All the lore on Yakuda based on speculation. We do NOT know what caused war with the elves. So the Redguards are not responsible solely for their death of the elf race there. For all we know it was started by them and they had fought ever since until their war destroyed a CONTINENT. We have no idea what the cause of that war was, but the result was they lost and were killed. As for them coming to Hammerfall, the killed the beast races true, but don't tell me the beast races would not attack them in return. The Dwemer were there as well but the whole race of them are hardly innocent. Their well known for their test subjects. I highly doubt they didn't kidnap the Redguard to use some as fodder for their projects. Yes, those Ayeleid did help Alessia. They did not deserve being wiped out. That is without a doubt true, but unfortunately the Alessian Order was Anti Elf. That's known but funny how you forget it was not a human who formed the Order, but one of the Imga/Gorilla Race that comes from Valenwood. You know, the Race that literally shaves their hair to emulate the Altmer and try to copy their sophisticated society. He was the one who started the Alessian Doctrine, not a human. Also keep in mind for the Nords the snow elves attack Saarthal first. We have no idea why the Nords were attacked by the snow elves other than speculation. It could have been the Eye of Magnus but we have no idea why they attacked. From my point of view it was an unprovoked attack because we have no evidence to the contrary. The Snow Elves lost to the returning 500 companions. I disagree this was the right way but people who see the people they loved slaughtered for no reason tend to be irrational. The snow elves brought it upon themselves. They were forced to the Dwemer because they were losing. The Nords did not give them a choice but to take the Dwemers bargain to take the poison fungus for protection. You're right, they did abuse the voice that was given to them. They did invade Elven lands, I won't argue that. They abused the gifts they were given and were punished at Red Mountain and their Empire fell apart. The Redguard fought against elves, but we have idea what caused their war with the Left Handed elves. You can't blame them without all the evidence. We have NO idea who started it and all evidence is in the Ocean. The Nords were attacked and retaliated for an unprovoked attack that killed an entire city of innocent people. The Snow Elves lost their war, bargained with the Dwemer, and became the Falmer. Their choice to attack doomed their race. The Drienni elves were decent. They had some issues true, but were overall good people. The only thing is what third race? The Ayeleids were killed off by religious zealots, the Left Hand Elves we barely know anything about, and the Falmer are the Snow Elves just warped. As for Tiber Septim, we agree completely on this. He is at fault for everything in the Fourth Era. His actions in Summerset with the Brass God and forcing them to worship him as a God made them Hate humans which results in their hatred of Man. The only thing I have to say on the matter is it was Elves who gave Tiber the Numidium. It was the tribunal who are Elves. They knew he'd use it. So it's their fault for giving a Dragonborn a living weapon for a modicum of independence for Marrowind. May Auriel watch over you, brother! (Bows slightly)

When the Welkynar Knights Arrive. A cry for help in time of need, await relief from elven league. 60 days of siege, outnumbered & weak. Sent a message to divines, wounded soldiers left to die. Will they hold the wall, or will the Isles fall. Dedication. Dedication. They’re outnumbered 15 to 1. And the battle’s begun. Then the Welkynar Knights arrived. Flying down the mountainside. Then the Welkynar Knights arrived. Flying down they turned the tide. As the days are passing by, & as the dead are piling high. No escape & no salvation. Trenches to fiery halls are buried deep beneath the walls. Plant the spell rune there & watch the city fear. Desperation Desperation It’s a desperate race against the mine. And a race against time. Then the Welkynar Knights arrived. Flying down the mountainside. Then the Welkynar Knights arrived. Flying down they turned the tide. Fireballs are coming down from the sky. Dremora are you ready to die. We will seek our vengeance eye to eye. You’ll be stopped on the steps of your gate. On this field you’re only facing our hate. That’s the night Alinor was freed. We made the Dremora bleed. Storm clouds, fire & steel. Death from above make their enemy kneel.
