sounds completely different than the album and his lows get way to unintelligible after awhile some people say "oh well I know what he is saying" bull fucking shit. I've been listening to Thy Art for years.. and tried all kinds deathcore and like... pronunciation is key man otherwise it just sounds like a dog barking, and there ARE NOT proper lyrics because they are literally just making their mouth move, they aren't using their tongue like when you actually sing or speak.. that may be brutal to some people, but it's poor vocal to me but hey, props to Thy Art, this is the best video I've heard live Thy Art will always be the best band ✌

I think it's tone over pronunciation, as long as I get the proper lyrics on the record. I mean I can't name a lot of extreme metal vocalists who archive so much tone live. Not that I've seen every death metal band out there, but still, I more often than not think that the live vocals weren't the best part of a show. Also I've never really noticed it in person; not being a native speaker I can always tell myself that my ears suck or something.

+TheBrownidge I've seen them twice live up close and I think CJ has one of the best vocals live, the fact he can pull off his lows with a guttural feel to it (not to mention occasional pig squeals too) is pretty impressive. The fact he does this means it's more about the tone rather than the pronounciation as a whole.
