As interesting as this is it's so much easier to set either of the pots (as long as they're not being used) to control channel 2, this seems so convoluted just for basically a throttle hold.

You may be right, but that would not be the solution to the given problem. The solution to a problem should never be more complicated than necessary, but also not simpler. 😉

I totally understand that this is probably better for most people. For me, I have a second steering mix on one pot and then I have the winch speed setup on the other pot. This is exactly what I needed for a cruise control.

@@gruffrc You could also set up a sticky button and logic switch to do these same things and your case is where this woukd come in handy. It's awesome to have this dude explaining so much.

I am curious: how would you do that? How would you retrieve the current throttle output value to use it in the mixes page or in the special functions?

@@arminrc you wouldn't. You'd add a hold after a certain value.
