The camera tracker in blender is far more sophisticated. Why would anyone want to track in After Effects if they already have access to a much better camera tracker?

This workflow doesn’t work in every scenario, I used it to track drone footage and for some reason after effects also Copied the focal length information of the drone camera which made the 3d objects I added into the scene look warped

For anyone on Mac who is having the problem with the file not showing: Find the file that you exported from AE, rename it with .json at the end. Now it will show when you try to import it into blender.

Also copy focal length of camera in After Effects and past it into appropriate place in settings of camera in blender, otherwise tracking will work bad, as I found in my case
