Thank you. 1 Question, I saw that you imported "stereo" tracks from an AAF in ProTools. I never find a solution to export AAF "Stereo Tracks" from anther DAWs that work with ProTools in this way you do. The always come up with 2x mono Tracks. Do you know the trick?

Hello, do you have a tutorial on taking video files from a iPhone 12 Pro Max exporting them into Protools and using the audio tracks in Protools that exported video file?

What do you do when you receive a change in the edit (which changes the time duration) and you have compensate for that changed length of time and sync everything? You make a new session?

Hey there, On my current project, we edit with all music stems in the timeline rather than only using the full mix for cue. Our workflow is to sync all the stems for a cue from the composer into one clip based on TC. Then, we edit with the synced clip so that all the instrumental tracks are linked as one clip. Everything works great while in Avid Media Composer. However, when we sent an embedded AAF to our music editor, he said that the stems for each mx cue imported into Pro Tools were all labeled with the same name. Which in this case, the stems were labeled with the name of the synced clip in Avid Media Composer. Meaning, in Media Composer, we can see all the instrument names in a synced clip, BUT in Pro Tools those instruments names are lost and it only shows the name of the synced clip for each mx cue. Is there a way to import an AAF into Pro Tools that will maintain the individual instruments names for each music cue? At the moment, our only option is to forego syncing the stems in Media Composer and to simply edit with stems not linked/synced together. Hope this makes sense.

hi, the problem is that the premiere make wierd audio file names. so, protools cant find those files. What i need to do, or, the editor have to do?

Hey, so that's not a problem, that's intentional. When exporting premier or whatever editor you use will create a filename and ID that will associate to the AAF or OMF file. So as an editor you would need to provide the audio with the AAF/OMF file or in some cases it makes sense to embed the audio within the AAF/OMF. Does that help at all?
