This caught my attention so much. I wouldn't say Import culture is dying more of the whole car culture is dying in general. Especially how there are all the side shows and everything going on right now, I know for sure I get targeted for standing out and being different. The law enforcement treat everyone the same just because one person decided to ruin it. I did almost give up on my whole build once I got a heavy fine for doing nothing and was targeted for having a stanced car. Hope to see you soon at another show! :)

Car import culture finally died when Honda decided to do-away with Mugen, and Nissan dropped balls on Nismo. Even in Japan car modification fans are now grown out of it, and kids these days really do not pay that much attention to cars as we did back in 90s (yes, 2000s import culture was a fume of what we did in the 90s). These days its either Tesla or EV, or go ultra with super cars such as Ferrari/Lambo/Mclaren etc. How did the import culture die? It started to die out in mid-2000s as car makers realized that there isn't much profit at sports car market (which was true). Plus higher fuel price + higher interest on financing...and what put nail in the coffin was environmental requirements in mid-2000s on engine which killed a lots of sports vehicles
