Import Licensing Notification Workshop

The Ministry of Trade, in collaboration with the ARISE+ Indonesia programme, has developed a comprehensive institutional framework to ensure that Indonesia meets its WTO obligations regarding import licensing notification requirements. This initiative includes training designed to bolster the capacities of officials from the Ministry of Trade and other relevant line ministries. Held in Bandung on 8 May 2024, the workshop was delivered by experts from ARISE+ Indonesia and inaugurated by Wijayanto, the Director of WTO Negotiation at the Ministry of Trade. He emphasized the importance of compliance with WTO agreements.
