Don't paint with grey colour. Always advisable colour is Ivory for entire house inside and outside walls. And also need to check the main door is in which zone then only we need to paint.

In one of his videos he told that north is zone of water and so to maintain stability between water and fire the place green stones or sheet under the gas stove. Also put red bulbs in south and southeast for fire to balance.
