Sir there is a big issue that. K bill jo hai electricity ka wo bhoot ziyda hai aur loog bhar rehya hai gareeb ho ya ameer lakin light proper nahi arahi hai. 10 mnt ati hai chali jati hai 10 mnt ati hai chali jati hai... Bill ki date agar ziyada hojaya yeh loog extra charge karty haien lakin electricity proper nahi arahi hai. Fuse do do din tak jal jata hai aur koi dekta nahi... Tu fr hum bill ku bharty hain..

Under smart metering there is no need to delivered the bills through post office. The department is again going back to postpaid? We don't need now postpaid. Remove your smart Meyers at once.

Mere khayal se agar aapko smart meter laganey hi hai toh yeh sab ke liye uniform hona chahiye. Mera Matlab hai sab ke ghar main iss ki billing ek saath sharu honi chahiye na ki ek area main aaj aur doosre area main ek saal baad. This is pure injustice with the area where it is installed first. Let them install the meters first in whole of j&k & then start the billing on one particular date throughout j&k that will be quite fare.

Very nice billing through post man smart metering essential initiative but employees at Sub Division level of JPDCL are only playing the roll to facilitate theft of electricity everywhere bcos of which the genuine consumers are not getting edequate Power supply resulting into facing unscheduled Power cuts/ curtailments. Government should act rigidly against the JPDCL employees ,as a public servant they must discharge their duties honestly for the welfare of general public.

Consumer is always at the receiving end weather it is petrol pump meter or electricity smart metre. Who knows if consumers are being cheated, what is mechanism adopted by JPDCL to ensure consumer is not being cheated by excessive meter reading and heavy charges. There is no transparency. JnK is not as advanced as JPDCL. Please bring transparency in the system first. Some consumers are complaing they are being charged heavily as compared to online system no redressal of greivances.

AEE Gandhinagar or Chief Engr should firstly reverse the pre-paid billing system into post paid billing system. Not understood how it has been done without the consent of the consumer or notification from GOI. They should know that GOI is advocating one country one rule which means you cannot foster pre-paid billing ststem in Jammu only because In all other UTs there is post-paid billing system then why pre-paid billing system has been made applicable in Jammu only. Is UCC not applicable in Jammu ? If yes then why pre-paid billing system made applicable in UT of Jammu only. The concerned authorities should wake up from slumber. Hon'ble PM/HM/Governor should take immediate action in reversing the system and do justice with the people of Jammu who cannot afford to pay the bill in advance because of being poor state. By slapping pre-paid billing system on the face of Jammu people means that you are deliberately crushing the sentiments of Jammu people by leaving them to die on the mercy of almight God. Do you realise what is the daily income of Jammu people. They cannot afford to provide 3 time meals to their family members then from where they can pay advance rent. Hon'ble Governor is immediate boss hence he is requested to kindly consider the GENUINE demand of public on Humanitarian grounds and issue orders for reversal of the ststem into post-paid.
