Hi, the answer given in the video is correct. The concept which you are referring to is short selling, in which the trader sells first and then buy, however in the video, general meaning of short was asked, and going short basically means that you are selling the shares. Understood? Regards Jalaj

But first statement says "an obligation to buy share in future which happens in short selling only , i think option 1and 2 are correct

@@jalajnagpal7382 Sir, With due respect, definitely going short means that you are selling the shares but in the question the word "obligation" and that too in the future is stated, I got the point that you are trying to make but I was answering according to the statements given in the question, anyways thanks for the response, I'm not a live viewer of this series, but I regularly watch the IFSCA series of yours, kindly don't close it.

Hi everyone, We have analyzed the question again and as per our best understanding, the correct answer will be option E only, as none of the above is correct. In finance and management, surely we have to focus on the specific words, in short selling, I too agree that obligation will arise, but in the question, this concept wasn't discussed.
