Now, at time 8.27, the two voltages are at 12V and 8V which means they are at two different potentials. Also, there is no load between these 2 points. Ironically, why there is NO SHORT CIRCUIT? In fact, if there was a load, the voltage drops across the load will be definitely 4V (12V-8V). This is very confusing. Please explain in detail.

What to do when to resistance are in parallel? Should we add both?

In parallel, we shouldn't add the values instead add the reciprocal of each resistance

The taken direction of current in kvl rule is wrong, tsken in wrong way.
