The Palestinians have multiple composite ancestry, which does include Canaanite. Amongst their ancestors are the Peleset, Palashtu, Phoenician, and Philistine peoples, some of which are believed to have originated in Mycenaean Greece. Let me provide you with the actual history and I challenge anyone to make a real argument against anything I say because everything is documented fact. The 1948 war was not one war but two that blended together. The first stage of the war was when indigenous Jews from the Holy Land invited refugees fleeing the aftermath of Hitler’s Europe to live in the country. They were from there and they had every right to invite whoever they wanted. The Arabs who lived there who would later become what you refer to as the Palestinians viewed the newly invited Jews as invaders even though the Jews did not attack the Arabs. (You could also make the argument that the Arabs were the real invaders as Islam arrived in the Holy Land in the 7th century. That is why you can find 3000 year old Jewish temples in Israel but you can’t find any ruins belonging to Arabs from that time period because they arrived much later to spread their culture.). The Jews would go on to defeat the Arabs in the first stage of the war and this is when the event called the Nakba took place. The Nakba is a real historical event that the Pro Palestine side is obsessed with because during this event the Palestinians were expelled from their homes. They never bring up though that the Palestinians were expelled from their homes within the context of war. They make it sound like Jews just went door to door kicking innocent people from their homes. In war when you lose, much of the time you will lose land and resources. Most borders on Earth were formed from wars. The expelled Palestinians would be forced to move to Gaza and the West Bank in where they endured a brutal Israeli occupation. Just kidding 😂 Egypt occupied Gaza and Jordan occupied the West Bank until the 1960s. Most of the Palestinians were actually kicked out of Jordan because immediately after they arrived they tried to overthrow the Jordanian government. The Palestinians were then expelled to Lebanon where they to this day are forced to live in camps they are not allowed to leave under occupation from the Lebanese. Yes, Lebanon ironically occupies Palestinians while claiming to support them. In fact, the only place in the Middle East a Palestinian is not allowed to become a doctor is Lebanon not Israel. The second stage of the war was when 5 Arabs nations declared war on Israel after independence was officially announced. Of the five, three sent armies and all three armies were wiped out. This is how the state of Israel was formed. Since then there has been an endless cycle of Israel’s neighbors and the Palestinians declaring war on Israel, then losing those wars , then acting like they were the victims who did not initiate the war. Restarting a war from the 1940s because you don’t like that your side was on the losing side is not very wise. It would be like Japan declaring war on the US because they lost in 1945. They could make the argument the US committed genocide saying the US military killed millions of Japanese including tens of thousands killed from the nuclear bombs. I think what is the most interesting thing to me about the pro Palestine crowd is the selective outrage. I will use the Syrian Civil War as an example. The Syrian Civil War is a conflict that is going on currently that literally is only a few miles from Gaza. The entire State of Israel is only the size on the US state of New Jersey. In the Syrian Civil war 600,000 people have been killed. The majority of those people were innocent civilians. That is a number that is literally 20x greater than the Gaza death toll but it is intentionally ignored. That example shows my problem with the Pro Palestine crowd … I would like them if they were actually peace activists but most of them are in reality political activists trying to give one side an advantage.
