This video is packed with information and advice for you considering Morocco and Agadir for your family vacation. What should you expect from Morocco if you are coming for the first time. We are discussing where to stay, hotel or Airbnb accommodation, which area of Agadir is good for families, where is the tasty Moroccan food, should you take cash or card etc. How does it feel here during the winter months as we are filming in January? There is an item that many travelers bring along with them and can get confiscated right away at any Moroccan airport. What's that? Remember not to take any drone with you without applying for permission with the Moroccan authorities. Stay with us, me Kamenberg and my wife, and find out. Simply the top 5 things to know before your family trip to Morocco and Agadir.

You said Morocco is trying to be like Spain, I think it's the other way around. For your information, Spain was a past Moroccan/Moorish colony for almost 800 years. That's the reason why you find both countries look so much alike especially if you compare the south of Spain with north of Morocco.

I dont know why you underestimate morocco I have to remind you that we muslim moroccans who taught spaniards how to be clean and civilized when we were present in spain for 8 centuries and those fantastic monuments that you see right now in portugal and spain and tourists visit them because of that were built by us muslims ,

I was looking for a comment like this. Very strange and ignorant comments about Morocco and Africa in general. There are run down, filthy and dangerous areas in every major European city, you might not see it on mainstream media but those of us who live in the West know the truth! Welcome to Morocco, the architecture is mostly called Moorish architecture I think, the one that was utilised in Al Andalus during the medieval times, the craftsmen that do this kind of architecture are heavily concentrated in what is or was called imperial cities such as Fes, Moroccans usually are proud of this kind of architecture - almost a national heritage if it isn't already. The region is called Souss-Massa so the architecture in addition to the Moroccan architecture would be influenced by the Amazigh spirit and architecture in a parallel motion aswell. Welcome to Morocco friend :)

I must respectfully disagree with the assertion that Morocco is attempting to emulate Spain. Such an argument seems unfounded, and I find it difficult to comprehend why individuals who hold such views choose to visit our country. Morocco is a unique nation with its own rich culture and heritage, and we should celebrate our distinctive identity rather than attempting to imitate other countries. In fact, one could argue that it is Spain that has borrowed elements from Moroccan culture, rather than the other way around.

Morocco is claiming its natural place as one of the oldest countries in the world. we don't try to be like Spain since we, Morocco, built the true civilization of spain when Spain, back then Iberia was Moroccan land for almost 800 years. So basically oldest historical sites in Spain are Moroccan, and the influence of Moroccan architecture and cuisine is dominant in Spain. Also, Morocco was an empire that controlled almost a third of the African continent that holds the oldest civilizations. So if you think this continent is any less than wherever you cam from, please don't come to Africa for your family vacation.
