NCERT has done some changes in the NCERT Books of Political Science Class 12. These changes are there in some chapters of both books (Contemporary World Politics & Politics in India Since Independence) Kindly Follow changes & read accordingly. Few Changes i covered in the video & some I have added in the pinned comment of this video. I request you all to follow recent rationalised or updated books.

Guys, Few more small changes are there so mark these are well. (I will recommend to study from updated NCERT only, I will send PDF in the Telegram Group). Changes - 1. On Page 119, the former text stated, "India claims that this area is under illegal occupation. Pakistan describes this area as Azad Pakistan". The revised text now reads, "However, it is the Indian territory which is under illegal occupation of Pakistan called Pakistan occupied Jammu & Kashmir (POKJ)". 2. In Chapter 2 of the book Contemporary world Politics under the section titled India-China relations, the previous sentence on page 25, which read "However military conflict overa border dispute between the two countries marred that hope." has been revised to, "However, Chinese aggression on the Indian border has marred that hope." 3. On Page 132 - The Earlier version stated, "While most of the states have equal powers, there are special provisions for some states like J&K and the states in the North-East". This has been updated to: (line added after North-East) - However, Article 370, which contains special provisions for J&K was abrogated in August 2019". 4. (Chapter - Politics of Planned Development) - The definition of "Left" originally referred to those who in favour of the poor and government policies has been redefined as those favouring state control of the economy over free competition. 5. The earlier text in the book noted that since the 1989 election, the votes and seats won by congress and the BJP did not add up to more than 50 percent. The revised text states that the votes of Congress & BJP often add up to more than 50 percent except in 1996, 2004 and 2009.
