IMPORTFEST 2016 UNOFFICIAL AFTERMOVIE | TORONTO | 4K | CJ SHOOTS
To be honest, this wasn’t going to originally happen. In the last couple days leading to Importfest it was an impulse decision on my side as to if I should or shouldn’t make any sort of video for this show. Well you can obviously see what happened! From a 13 hour day of recording on and off, to 2.5 hours of raw 4k footage, I was able to condense it to my favourite 11 minutes, which is my longest after movie yet!
I usually like working with a story line, but this video is a true event recap. Although I couldn’t record roll in and the bikini competition. I was able to get clips of just about everything. Theres quite a few cars that I missed and wished I got clips of.
I have had something to complain about for every video I have made thus far. This video I am actually really happy about, the way everything came out to the way its looking. I am disappointed in my cameras white balance chasing at times which made it a little hard to grade evenly. Something that will be fixed for the next video!
Grade wise, I wanted to go with a very cinematic look, thus very contrasty and vibrant. I personally love the way my grade came out and I am learning more day by day about s log and colour grading.
Im loving this new gimbal and video setup. I feel like quality is going up and should be going up from here.
