When importing chart of accounts, how does Odoo recognize the account type and allocates into correct account type? even in case the account type format comes out differently from old legacy system?

It's easy to import a file that was previously exported from Odoo. How to import a file that wasn't exported from Odoo please?? So much problem with compatibility...
