“Importing User Samples” Roland TM-6 PRO #04

Ive been looking at going hybrid for a while now. Debating between buying one roland TM6 or several roland TM1 modules. I plan to use acoustic heads on acoustic drums, but also mic and trigger simultaneously. (Then blend mics and triggers as desired in the daw during mixing. ) My producer prefers a separate send for each individual tom/kick snare. So thats 4 toms, 1 kick, and 2 snares. I will overhead mic my Zildjian A-customs, so no electronic cymbal sends will be needed. Will there be enough TM6 sends for my producers needs?

can you load multisamples? like low/high velocity & round robins?

Can i assign another sound on existing kit ? for example a iwant to change the sound of hi hat(chanell 6) and use an tom sound.....

absolutely! Every kit patch is user-editable and you can use any of the internal and WAV sounds as well as your own. You can copy kit patches to other locations and modify them and leave the factory patch as-is. You can also recall just individual patches and save and load everything or single kit patches to SD Card.

Hi there. I have an issue. My drummer uses side stick and rim shot. He never uses centre for snare. The problem is that when he hits rim shot all I get is side stick. How can I resolve this problem. Otherwise it means that I can’t use the snare trigger. Thanks for your help.

I hope a future update will include the option to load files through USB. Then I will buy this. SD cards are so 90's :(

Why can't we simply transfer the files through a laptop using USB. At least give us the option?

If you do a firmware upgrade at some point can you include more functions with external foot pedals please? if the two foot pedals can also have options in the control menu for Master f\x on/off, All FX on/off, kit FX on/off, pad fx on/off, and maybe have a new sub menu in fx to group fx into 2 different groups and have the pedal control group 1 or 2 fx on/off it'd be great, the foot pedal options are pretty useless as the things that you can do at the moment are easier to do with a finger pressing a button. If we can turn on and off fx without having to create a new kit it'd be so much easier, also if we could have more than 100 patches it'd be great 200 minimum please. it's not like the data actually takes up a lot of space, it's basically settings data which is a small filesize, each kit file doesn't have to carry the actual samples in it's file formatting.
