Love this. Already know how I’ll be doing this. I put my ID in my case like this. I’ll leave my ID sticking up when I’m going to do this. Just clamp it down a little using the pressure of it being in my pocket so it doesn’t fall down into the case. I’ll use the ID as a slider. Putting the between the phone and ID. That was I can say. Behind my ID, behind the phone case is a your card. I can’t wait!! Ty for sharing.

That is an amazing thing to do! I’ll be trying that out as well. It makes easier by adding the ID/Slider plus it adds another level of “difficulty or impossibility” to the effect. Thank you for sharing!

I had an Idea with this, have a bunch of fake ID cards and borrow one from a spectator, lose it in the pile and talk about how with technology people can gain access to anything or simulate being anyone on their phones and then reveal it in the phone case

This is great. I've actually been doing this (with a different load and presentation) for several years now since I realized phones were replacing wallets. David Stone did it to the cell phone battery compartment years before smart phones, but I'm surprised I'd never seen anyone use a phone a and it's case like a card to wallet before.

Really phenomenal variations .how about letting the spectator select any card (after their original selection is placed inside the case) and then doing a rub a dub vanish and showing them that they selected their own card which melted through the case

Excellent! I love your videos! When using the #1 or #3 envelopes, is there a reason you don't apply the rubber cement on the envelope's normal flap and where the flap would contact the body of the envelope when it's closed? It seems to me this might make the envelope more closely examinable. But I admit I'm not familiar with the kind of bond rubber cement creates; maybe you're concerned the spectator would suspect something with this setup?

Thank you Tim! The reason I didn’t go with the rubber cement on the actual flap is because then the envelope would be open in the case. By having the flap sealed and closed, and the bottom opened and setup with rubber cement, once it slides down into the phone, the phone and case will close the envelope, adhering the rubber cement to itself, sealing it pretty much like new. We can also seal the flap and cut that same top as we did the bottom, then during performance instead of opening it, we can rip the top as we would a letter (this destroys any evidence) and then we produce the item. Hopefully this answers your question, which btw, thank you so much for asking!

Another awesome video Javier! I was wondering if you could help me with an issue I have and it’s an odd one. For making gimmicks or tearing cards i for some reason don’t like using court cards or aces because I seem to value them more when I use them for flap cards or other gimmicks even though I have a lot of cards and extras I only like when “regular cards” (2-10) get signed or teared but dislike with a court card if that makes sense. Any ideas or solutions?

Thanks Kylo! In my eyes no issue is odd my friend. We can think of it from the perspective of their actual reality. They are glued papers with ink on them. We give them the value and just like we GIVE them their value, we also TAKE their value away. Just papers with ink. But I totally get you my friend, I tend go the other way around lol k don’t mind to destroy court cards because I can usually fake having all 4 easier with them than way spot cards, which I prefer to use for signed cards so it’s easier to see and recognize. But man, it’s all up to how we belief to perceive it. One thing you could try is ask yourself why this makes you feel this way. Once you have your answer ask that answer, why?, again. Do this 4 more times so a total of 5 times and you may start using the whole the same… but idk 🤷, hope this helps

Love this Javier! I’ve actually worked on something very similar for a few years now. I played with the same ideas you have. The version I do uses my business card to help load the card (like a lot of card to wallets) I also use DFB to have a reveal on the business card as well as having their signed card in the case.
