Thanks so much😊 I think it is easier in DLC because you can earn the trophy in "Phasing Mode" where you get the ring of phasing ability all the time. The issue with DLC is that you have to face an extra Zone 5, but new dlc items help a lot with the run (such as heavy glass armor, spiked headphones). Without DLC: u only need to clear 4 zones not 5, but there is no phasing mode in preDLC; instead there is the ring of phasing in the items pool which is kind of a rare item.
