Oh you like a course that has an easier front nine but demolishes you on the back nine? Hmm I will keep that in mind with my current course.... By the way, you mentioned the idea of rolling the ball all the way down a bridge as a cool trick shot. Experienced course designers will tend to avoid this because there is an object collision bug that gives your ball a small but not insignificant chance of clipping through the bridge and getting stuck INSIDE the object (in this case, a section of bridge). It can also happen if you make a bridge out of some of the smoother rocks available. Last year I was making this "super challenge course" for an open invitational that another pga streamer was hosting, and I learned this the very hard way. Made this enormous bridge to use, I thought it was a really cool idea, then later found out (after I had finished and published the course) that there is a small chance it breaks. I was so disappointed. From that point onwards, bridges have been strictly for decoration.

As a noob to course designing, I always keep impossible settings in mind. I still haven't published my first course, but plan to still before the new game comes out. I honestly gives there designers credit though cuz my course is nowhere near as clean as these. The planting is really overwhelming me at the moment.

I've built 18 courses. Slow and steady. The number 1 thing I can tell you is if you have a blank area fill it in with a tree, bushes or plants. Blank spots are weak spots. I use 99% of objects every course I build. Add color and don't just use green trees. Variety is key. Good luck.

Putting on the 6th hole was all sorts of broken! How did the second putt read R2L and it goes practically dead straight, and then the third putt coming back reads practically dead straight and it goes R2L? That was ridiculous! Nice Tier 2 activation!

Played this game last night on my portal and shot a +9. I forget the course but it has been very long time since I played 2k23. I want a game where they take some of 2k23 and some of ea tour and make a game. Edit:.still think you should set course up each week for the community to play and shout them out in the beginning of every video for the person that shot the best and mayne even beat the impossible challange for the week. Getting the community involved might bring People into it. Just a thought. Or maybe do live streams to play with channel members. Do you do any member only streams/videos? I know now id sub as a member if I had a chance to play with Ryan 😂
